"My son and I were passing through from Rotorua to Wellington and stayed one night here. My son loved it. The room was much bigger than we thought. There was ample space and it was very comfortable. It had a lot of extra amenities that we took advantage of. We played on their mini golf course, played pool and ping pong, and used the hot tub. "The room is very spacious, clean, well equipped and the parking was easy. The place is well located in town so it's hard to miss, and many eating options nearby."

"It was damp, slugs on the floors and condensation max! It was dripping onto the floor during the night. The toilet had issues in the middle of the night we couldn’t fix so was awake from the noise from 3am onwards. Very sad but the staff were friendly. "

"Good place to stay, would book here again, only thing is I tried calling the place but no answer, wrote them a message but no reply."

"We were only there for one night as we were travelling to Auckland. The unit was perfect for our requirements. Super comfy beds and quiet. The host was really lovely too. Would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves."

"The area is quiet, and semi-rural, with easy access off the main road. The unit was clean and presentable, but dated, the unit needs some money spent on the property, and furnishings. The staff was kind and courteous, accommodating with requests. I do wish that some milk had been put in the unit, along with a hand towel, and facecloth. "

"Tokaanu public hot pools just a short walk away, plus the Lodge has its own hot pools. Turangi a very short drive away with supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Conveniently placed to visit Tongariro National Park. The manager was very understanding when we cut short our stay due to poor weather and only charged us for the days we were there. The room was clean and well fitted out, if a little dated in style."
