"A lovely stay for one night! Lots of families & big communal areas with a nice patio & bar. It was a little hot & there were no privacy curtains. Communal bathroom/shower was clean & it was nice to have a sink in the room for a quick clean up. It was also nice to use your card as your key for a locker. A bit of a walk up hill from the train/bus station, but still very accessible."

"The property is ok but could benefit from an upgrade. The staff were great although there were issues with the cooling system in our room. The one and only off putting thing is the amount of flies in the lobby especially around the food at breakfast. I struggled to eat much because of this "

"Good hotel with straight forward self check-in process. Fairly central in Lucerne. Knocking some points off the cleaniness as there was a kettle used by the previous hotel guest that was not clean (i.e. had cloves and tissue still in the kettle). Once this was reported to the hotel management, they quickly replaced the kettle by the time we came back from our day outing."

"A good hotel for young families. They have a play area for young children, which our eight year old loved. The family room was nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Located outside of Lucerne city centre, it is well connected by frequent buses to and from the city. There's an Aldi nearby too."

"Staying at Lamira apartment was a pleasure. The apartment location was perfect, about 5mins 🚶walk to the Leimbach train station and 15mins 🚗drive to Zürich city centre. The apartment was cozy and clean, and Lamira service personnel was always available to answer our questions. A basement parking space available at the apartment. "

"Very lovely place. Would stay there again. Walkable to everywhere you need to go, nice rooms and food options."

"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "

"We loved the area the hotel was in. It was so close to the river and so many beautiful buildings and amazing restaurants and cafes. The pool was also a highlight, very clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we especially loved the window seats and double windows!"
