"Maybe it's common knowledge that "residence and conference centre" means unoccupied college dorms rented out as minimal hotel rooms, but we didn't know and the listing didn't make it clear. It was not an aparthotel in the sense of being a converted apartment building. My spouse and I checked in to find the room was a small dorm suite with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and kitchenette.
