"We had a large family room for 4 (you could easily fit more young children if co-sleeping). Common kitchen had other travelers making breakfast and chatting. (Keep in mind there's no food available at this location.) No problems waiting for the shared shower. Self-checking with code 24/7."

"I loved how peaceful this property is. There is an old church and cemetery and the mountain rise up behind the lodging. There are a few good restaurants within 10 mins. The host made a yummy breakfast."

"The cabin is set in an amazing and beautiful location, with stunning views of the fjords and water all around. We enjoyed walking the property and even met the arctic fox that roams freely, which was a highlight. The boat hot tub was a great spot to relax while taking in the views. The cabin itself was spacious, and we appreciated that laundry was available, though there is only one machine and it’s accessible only in the evenings. "Apotek Guesthouse is the place you must stay in Hofn! We absolutely loved our two nights there and would go back in a heartbeat. Pristine in all areas, great wifi, plenty of hot water, lovely kitchen area which guests are welcome to use, dining area, lovely coffee and hot chocolate machine, cereal and cake free breakfast - beds are sooo comfie, honestly a 10/10 stay. Across the road a lovely swimming pool with hot tubs - a great restaurant not too pricey and a lemon garage a few more steps up...

"A little out of the way but very worth the extra drive - note that the road out to the guesthouse is gravel and the driveway is a bit steep. Lovely clean little house with a nice kitchen area, tidy rooms, and good bathrooms. Great views. Owners and other guests were very pleasant. We didn’t take advantage of purchasing meals but they looked very good. "

"Love how it was a hostel, bar, restaurant all in one building. Was able to check in grabbed had some bite and a beer to relax after a long day. Was perfect."
