"Beautiful small annex of an equally beautiful larger hotel, fab location, great breakfast, wonderful staff"

"The stay there was generally great. Good view from the accommodation, quiet and good breakfast. Service is nice, and efficient through WhatsApp. Only one issue is the last night of my stay there are termites. I know that they are not harmful, but the wings and worms dropped on my baggage. I don’t know if there are efficient and sustainable way to avoid this or not. Guess it might be a common issue living in old buildings. Overall, Ouro Preto is so nice, worth coming and living for some time."

"O quarto estava com roupa de cama suja. Check in e check out bons. O hotel precisa de coordenação, vários funcionários conversando enquanto me entregaram um quarto com roupa de cama suja e não retiram a mesa suja do café da manhã. "

"I liked the guy in charge of the place and this place was very, very cheap, so one can not expect much. Further more, we are Danish, so maybe we are spoiled. Never the less, we booked for 18 people (two times 9 bed dorms). We called in advance to make sure we knew what to bring. We were instructed only to bring towels. When we arrived there were only mattresses for 12 people, pillows and linnen for 8. We could have brought that stuff, so it was dissapointing that we were not told when we called....

"A pousada requer uma boa reforma, tijolos aparentes, paredes rachadas, cortinas caindo. Falta acabamento e um maior capricho nos detalhes. O quarto é pequeno, o Wi-Fi não funcionava assim como a TV a cabo. Falta uma mesa ou escrivaninha com cadeira, o banheiro não tinha uma prateleira para os apetrechos de banho e, para pendurar as roupas ou toalhas, há um gancho dentro do box! A dona da pousada é muito atenciosa e prestativa, o pessoal de serviço também, mas estes problemas deixaram má...

"O ambiente é agradável. O café da manhã é simples, mas satisfatório. As roupas de cama sao limpas e novas. A cama e travesseiros confortáveis. O único problema foi a falta de privacidade do quarto por ter treliça na parte superior das paredes que dão para áreas comuns e o cheiro forte de mofo."
