"Check in went very smoothly. The bed was a giant circle which was fun but also a little unexpected. This was definitely a small suite, and the view of the Eiffel Tower felt underwhelming. The sink was clogged so we had to pull the stopper out of the drain. Some of the outlets didn’t work so we had to charge phones across the room on the floor. "Booked this hotel last minute and was impressed by the quality of the room and amenities. The friendliness and welcoming nature of the staff was my favorite part of the stay and I would consider booking this hotel again if I was staying in this area of Paris. "

"We had a great stay at the Hotel Thoumieux (right above the restaurant). The room was large, comfortable, clean, and the staff was excellent. There is no elevator and although we stayed on the top floor (4th) we quite liked the stairs. We loved our stay and we can’t wait to return someday. Fun Fact: The city was in the middle of a heatwave and our room had central air conditioning when it felt no one else in the city did!"

The morning breakfast is a must and it helps keep your food costs down due to the fact that it has a variety of items they provide. "The staff made us feel exceptionally welcome. We arrived early on a Sunday morning and though our room was not ready (nor did we expect it to be!) we were offered a complimentary hot beverage (coffee, tea). After a long international flight and customs line, this was such a treat. The front desk texted once our room became available (bags already delivered to our room!) and was always ready with an umbrella due to the rainy weather. Our room was quite spacious and exquisitely decorated....
