"We arrived early as we had a 2 hour drive to get there and wasn't allowed to check in as it was too early. As we had a family celebration to attend it meant that we couldn't check in till around 9pm so had to leave bags etc in the car. The room was good and clean the staff all pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was good "

"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. It is slightly unusual in comparison to a regular hotel, the layout is obviously geared to meetings and conferences but not an issue. The reception area doubles up as a bar in the evening.
