"Nice hotel in a nice location. Some reception staff are more helpful than others. Breakfast is awful. Cleaning staff take all of 1 minute to "refresh" your room. At check in you're asked to give a 1000 baht deposit, which is absolutely fine. At check out we were told that a bottle opener was missing from our room. "Arrival: Rented the suite after reading reviews. There is a bellman that will be waiting at the pier upon your arrival. Look through all the people holding hotel signs until you find the right one. "Advice going for the Deluxe Pool Access. It was clean, comfortable and great view and direct access to private sun-beds and access to the pool. No “entertainment” was allowed in the pool which we enjoyed reading our favourite books in silence. Fantastic friendly personal who did the outmost to make you feel prioritised and welcome. They were doing construction above our room for most of our stay so that was loud but luckily only during the day. The pools are lovely, but at times had multiple kids in it. "We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"
