"I took a red eye to New Brunswick. It just worked out that way. I arrived at the Heldrich Hotel at about 8:30am, hoping to at least check my luggage so I could walk about or do something until it was the official check-in time. Instead, the woman at the front desk said "let's see what we can do for you" and just like that, I was given a key to my room before 9am. "Room was clean and orderly, staff were friendly and accommodating, continental breakfast was a nice touch. Being close to the Boardwalk was nice and convenient. Location was directly across from the Trop, so the street noise was as expected and beyond the hotel's control. Overall, it was a good place to stay for the price they offered. If you don't mind a longer walk to the main Boardwalk attractions (Steel Pier and other casinos), then this hotel is worth it."

"The property from the outside and in the lobby were beautiful. I loved the cafe, bar, and pool. Our room however needed help. The outlet in the bathroom did not work so I was unable to get ready by the mirror which was frustrating since we were headed out to an event. The fridge door dragged on the floor and the room entering the room must have been recently painted. We had to throw our weight into opening it and paint chips flying off the frame. "
