"We loved our stay at Hotel Victor Hugo. The location was superb: a beautiful tree lined residential neighborhood with stately buildings, but also close to the Prommenade Anglais and Old Town. Giles, the proprietor, was extremely helpful. He is an excellent resource for restaurants, museums, public transport, etc. and came to our aid when my partner realized he had left two important medications at home in the USA. "One night stopover en route to Portugal. The hotel is easily found and not far from the main route down to northern Spain. Lots of parking. Good service at reception and a nice room, very clean and comfortable. Excellent dinner in the restaurant and a nice breakfast that set us up for the next days travel.
