"We were there only one night, but the room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. They recommended dinner at a nearby restaurant (Old Iceland) which was excellent! The hotel's breakfast buffett was wonderful with lots of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs and meats. I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Reykjavik. "

"Overall, the hotel was really nice. I absolutely loved the spa! The room was super cozy, and the bed was comfy. The only issue was the bathroom. It smelled terribly like sewage. They said they were sending someone up the next day, but nothing happened. When I eventually had one of the people from the front desk come up and smell it so she understood for sure, she apologized, brought some bathroom spray and ticket for 2 drinks at the bar. She said she would have someone check it out the next day,...

"This hotel was well presented and well located. Close to the harbour, about 10 minute walk to centre of town and Bus stop 12 is right out the front door so it is easy to join tours and utilise the airport bus service. It was great to have a restaurant in the same building so you can grab a bite to eat after a long flight. "

"The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Any request we had was promptly dealt with. We like that the hotel has someone on the front desk 24/7. The breakfast room is lovely and the breakfast buffet had excellent food and many choices. The hotel is a heritage property that has been beautifully renovated. Light, airy and modern which was a pleasant surprise! "
