"The property was beautiful. We had a separate apartment a few doors down and 3 floors up. There is no elevator and the stairwell is not lit. The hostess who showed us to our room did not explain the heating system, shower, heated (but not) towel rack. The living area was a hodge-podge of furniture and colors. An area rug would have added a lot 0f warmth and tied it together. It was not a good value for the money. "

"What a beautiful hotel! We loved how modern it was and the views from our rooms and garden. The staff were lovely and helpful, Breakfast was amazing - mostly self serve with lots of choices (bread, cheeses, meat, fruit, yogurt, cereal etc), and Elisa also brought us all kinds of other goodies like fresh melon, pineapple, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, plus fresh-squeezed OJ and coffee to order. "It is a beautiful and comfortable property on the river of Como Lake, with beautiful views. It has all the luxury and glamour of a classic e historic 5-star hotel. The staff is very warm and attentive to any detail. Its Mistral restaurant is excellent for a romantic dinner. Without a doubt, it is the best hotel in Bellagio and one of the best on Lake Como."

"Die Lage ist wirklich Klasse. Aber der Weg von der Autobahn dahin dauert über eine halbe Stunde, durch viele kleine Strassen in Schlangenlinien den Berg hoch. Wer das nicht mag oder ein nicht so sicherer Fahrer ist, sollte nicht dahin fahren. Das Frühstück ist Klasse und sehr gut. Das Abendessen kostet extra, ist sehr gut aber ist nicht ganz billig."
