"Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly. Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting. "

"The front desk and staff were excellent. The room did not have fresh linen when we checked it, and the bedding had stains and was not fresh. "I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. "This was our first location in India and a perfect start to our vacation. We received a very warm welcome. The Hotel is near a lot of sightseeing features and the area around gives a good view in Indian live with not that much people in the beginning. But we arrived at the Beginning of the off season in Mai. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are clean and quiet. There is a rooftop pool and a in house Restaurant.
