"I travel a lot for work on my own in remote areas of NH & VT, so finding a safe and comfortable place to stay is very important to me. The staff at Birchwood were so kind and welcoming. My room was well prepared and very clean. The only thing that made me a little nervous was the back door in the room because I was unsure if the lock actually worked and only a thin see through drape covered the window. Just something to be cognizant of for young women traveling alone! Overall, I loved my stay...

"The description of the room was nothing like what i got when I arrived. I paid for what sounded like a great room. What i got was no better than an Econolodge. No TV, broken wifi, no comfy chair to put my feet up and read, room was poorly lit, promised a jetted tub, i got a stand up shower. I would never stay there again. "

"The B&B is a beautifully maintained property. Charming decor. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Very close to the various lakes and the white Mountains. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was provided and was excellent too. Recommend the Inn highly. We will be back. "
