"the checkin was super easy and smooth.. front desk clerk came and opened the door upon arrival, big smile on his face and from then on i had a new friend in Makassar.. any questions i just asked him and not only did he answer them but would tell me better way or place than what i was thinking.. the food in the restaurant as well as the service was perfect.Coto Makassar huge sreving and just ENAK.. "The staff were very nice and helpful & the breakfast buffet was good/extensive, but the rooms are dated and we’re not cleaned well. The dirty looking bath mats pictured here says it all. Overall a bit pricey for what you get. "

"There were two things that made my stay unenjoyable. First, I was there 1 week and only had one hot shower. I believe after a few people use the hot water you can not get it, as the one hor shower I had cane at three in the afternoon. Second, the towels and sheets need to be replaced. It is not a big deal for me that the sheets consistently had stains on them, but the towel iften had dirt marks on them, like they were being used in a auto garage. "Overall it is an old hotel but quite clean except the towels which need a lot of javex. They were all dark and old. Other hotels would have replaced them long time ago."

"The good: 1. The hotel and the room were clean. Our rooms were cleaned even though we didn't asked for the service to come. 2. Room service was great as they always pick up my calls and deliver what we wanted. 3. Breakfast was great as they provided both local and continental menus. 4.
