The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy road. The neighborhood is sketchy. There was a man standing outside his van acting very suspicious the first night we stayed there. We made sure to take all our valuables and lock our car. There are very few food options (Wendy’s, Taco Bell & Dunkin Donuts). Our room was comfortable (two queen beds and a pull-out sofa). The carpet near the tile was pulled up and needs to be repaired. We appreciated that the sheets and blankets for the pull out sofa bed were in the room. When the pull out bed is pulled out, it’s difficult to move around the room. Which isn’t a problem if you wait until it’s time to go to bed to set up the additional bed. There’s a microwave, mini fridge, and cooktop in the room, but no pots or pans. The breakfast only offered carbs: cheerios, corn flakes, muffins, croissants, bagels, bread, and waffles. It would have been nice to have protein and yogurt as options.

Overall very good hotel, friendly and helpful staff and free breakfast. Also there is a shuttle every morning to NYC SQ which is convenient but not free. The price is less than the toll needed to go to NY so it is worth it nonetheless.
