"We stayed for one night, but wish it could have been longer. The hotel is across the street from the sea and we were able to walk to dinner and shops. The room was great except there was only one plug or outlet and it was by the desk. However, we would go back again! "

"The hotel was located within 0.75 of all the places we needed to be which made walking convenient. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Because I had to use my pass key in multiple locations to access my room, I felt uneasy. That type of security means I’m in an extremely dangerous area. I needed to be extra vigilant, and I couldn’t relax. There were no laundry facilities that could be used by a guest there for two nights, because everything had to be sent out and the timing was wrong. "

"Great location for exploring Galway. The room was exceptional, but ours was facing a loud street. Each night until 2am, there was loud music. In the morning loud recycling trucks collecting beer bottles. Friend had a room towards the back and couldn't hear anything from the busy street, so it seems it's not an issue for all rooms."

"We had a lovely room and felt very comfy. Beatrice is an absolutely gem, so welcoming, nice and more than helpful!! The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't have the chance to hang a Do not disturb card on the door, so somebody came in our room and all towels were changed, even the ones which were not used, thats unneccessary and not ecofriendly!"

"Small lobby and tight parking as is often the case in city hotels. However, the staff was very friendly. We had a great breakfast…we left early on our second morning and opted for breakfast on the road. Our absolute highlight of our stay here (and one of our highlights of our whole trip) was the live music session they had on Thursday night. There were 8 musicians and it was true session-style - they were not a band, they didn’t all know each other, they just showed up with their instruments...

"Parking was a challenge. No valet. No parking on premise. Not even a loading, unloading zone out front. The hotel is on an extremely busy street. Public parking lot was 2 blocks away, requiring us to traverse uneven terrain, busy streets with luggage. I did suggest to the hotel that they invest in Valets, negotiate a loading zone w/the city."

"The twelve was an excellent stay, so nice to have a suite style hotel with an extra wet bar and couch room. The record players in the room were a lot of fun. Because of this place, I’ll always remember Meatloaf’s “Bat out of hell”. Staff was great and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner room serve was excellent. "

"An old hotel and a bit dated, but location is superb and staff are fantastic! We chose to do valet parking, which was well worth the money. Breakfast is included and is a great buffet…but you can also order items from a menu at no additional charge. For me, food was great, I slept really well,staff were awesome, and location is fantastic. All I could hope for!!!"
