"Very convenient location in downtown Dorchester, good for walking trips around the town. Several museums and historical sites nearby. Very friendly, helpful staff. "Staff was helpful and the room was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were fine. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the hotel, but there was an absolute terrible stench outside when we arrived, it could actually still be smelled in the room. It eventually died down but never went away"

"At £95 for the night I felt this was a bit much for the room I had. Bar staff were nice, no WIFI in the bedroom. A bit quiet in the bar, owner was busy on lap top and no music, not very atmospheric. The village is beautiful though"
