"Our room was very clean and large. The staff worked so hard everyday to make it a geat experience. We didn't realize the driving and parking situation in advance. The rooms are located on a very narrow steep hill. I'm not a stunt driver, so we parked in a lot a few streets below and took an elevator up. The views are amazing. Its a great place to stay!"

"We had the best Balcony view of any Hotel stay in Portugal .The Hotel is perfectly positioned by the River in the Town. Hotel Staff are excellent with impeccable Customer Service. All public areas are clean & furnished wonderfully. Breakfast is excellent . The Bathroom was in need of refurbishment, it was very tired !! This is our 2nd stay & We would definitely stay again."

"This hotel is quite charming but it’s in an impossible position to access with a car. We spent 2 hours trying to locate the hotel using GPS and the directions the hotel gave us. In the end one of us walked in and arranged with the hotel to send us a taxi to get us there. All exhausting and unnecessary as the hotel could clearly have given better instructions."

"Such a great hotel! Tucked away in a quiet side street but still close to the beach and town. I was lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the pool which means a great sea view too. The rooms are huge, spotless and beautifully furnished. Bed is big and comfy and bathrooms are really nice. Good breakfast, with fresh juice, was a real bonus. And to top it off the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Oh and it’s got a great pool with tons of loungers. "
