Anniversary special
Amazing stay with our host Vicky pulling out all the stops for us to really make it special. Amazing room, service, breakfast was delish!!! The big tub with mood lighting was something special. A place to switch off and unwind. Perfect place for couples, only a fewminutes walk away from the big lake. Recomend it highly.

We have stayed here twice now and its been brilliant both times in Ambleside suite. Staff always friendly and helpful, room was clean, warm and comfortable, wide choice of breakfast options available which were great way to start the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Modern rooms in spotless accommodation, excellent hosts. breakfast in the room,very nice, varied menu. Mini bar is a nice touch.Good parking. Really excellent.

Brilliant from start to end of trip at Windermere Suites as soon as arrived greeted by a friendly Guy who gave us a lot of local information for our stay and places that are a must Breakfast absolutely beautiful , Beds are very comfortable and Jet bath is great Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again 5*

Great stay
It was a great stay stay, we even got breakfast sent to our room. And the spa bath was sublime. The location is also great as it was only a few minutes walk to the surrounding restaurants and they also adviced on the best activities to do in poor weather.

Windermere suites
It was nice shame previous people who stayed in the room had damaged flooring with scratch marks and stiletto marks, there was a few cobwebs on ceiling and a handle missing on dresser drawer some scratches on some of the furniture however the bathroom was lovely and hotel staff were nice. Hotels.com did say jacuzzi bath when it was actually an air bath however there was nothing we could do about that. Liked the lighting in the bath room especially and the shower was of good power towels and robes were clean

Windermere Suites is a MUST
The Windermere Suites was fantastic, beautifully decorated, lots of space and the jacuzzi bath was a definite hit after all the walking. The management were very friendly and the food was really nice and they catered for vegetarians. I loved we could have our breakfast in the room at a dining table rather than some hotels where you have to eat sat on your bed. Easy to access places on foot, by car, bus or train. Highly recommend this accomodation.

Wonderful stay
Amazing stay at the Windermere Suites , we were in the Bowness suite which was very nicely decorated, the bed super comfy and the room very big. The breakfast was delicious and a great variety ! Perfect location with walking distance to the lake and the town centre , i would highly recommend!!

Stayed here for a 2night trip to the Lake District. The location of the hotel is perfect, and within walking distance to a nice little High St. The owner I believe Vicki was absolutely lovely the couple of times we met her and made us feel welcome. Another lady (name starts with V) was also always super nice and friendly. The room however was a massive let down for the price paid. I expected it to be small on the reviews read, but it was quite dusty, having a dust allergy I was constantly sneezing anytime in the room. The 2nd BIGGEST issue I found was the heat in the room! It was so so hot - so much so there was no point in enjoying the bath. Fan in room did NOTHING! pls invest in AC or a better fan. As we were only there 2days and team were so lovely didnt want to kick up a fuss, we did tell lady as we left too! Just some constructive feedback as the service totally made up for it!

Thank you for your feedback we are sorry you were disappointed with your stay, as you review was anonymous i couldn't pin point which room was your stay and having checked all the rooms and baths we cannot find any that are dusty or blowing out dirt, we do put chlorine tablets through the air baths regularly. Unfortunately we occasionally get spiders in the rooms as we are surrounded by trees and bushes and we do leave the windows open to keep the rooms cool before guest arrival at this time of year.

Clean and luxurious
The property is in a fantastic location, 5 min walk to bars and restaurants etc. The bed was so comfortable and the whole apartment was exceptionally clean. The full English breakfast was one of the best I've had, not at all greasy.Staff were so helpfu and friendly too. Brilliant place for relaxing break.
