Holiday Inn Express, Crawley.
Just an overnight so my wife could fly out of Gatwick, but the hotel exceeded expectations. Very welcoming check in, a room that was more than adequate, nice drink in the evening before bed and a great breakfast set-up.

Staff are very helpful, rooms are nice and tidy, downstairs lobby area and breakfast area is very modern and comfortable, the breakfast is handy. Supermarket nearby if you need to grab anything and a close walk to the gatwick shopping areas as well as public transport/train station.

the hotel was nice and clean and there were no issues there but on check in the room was under as my name and my card (im 17 turned 18 today, day we was meant to checkout) so the guy at the reception asks us both for id as im with my boyfriend who is 19 so he shows his but when i said i am 17 he told us we were unable to checkin as the room is under my name and i said cant we just change the name of the room or book another room under his name instead and they said no, i think 18 is the age to be to book a hotel room which is fair enough was just dissapointed that i didnt get to spend my birthday the way i wanted too.

Pet friendly hotel.
Happy to leave £100 security for our dog, but it was unexpected. Cant recall being advised of the charge when online booking. Will remember for next time. Great stay never the less.

Staff very good, clean and tidy room HOWEVER the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was also a bit iffy I also reported to reception that an electric plug on the wall was very very loose.

We were disappointed that we waited in reception for 10 minutes before anyone appeared. The hroom was cold when we entered, and required some attention from your staff to get the heating to work. Breakfast was good on the whole, but diluted orange juice did not go down too well. Value for money OK We arrived after dark, and went round your roundabout several times to find the entrance. The exit is just as difficult to find

Our team often move around the hotel assisting guests, preparing bedrooms and other tasks. For this purpose a prominently displayed call bell is provided at reception which unfortunately appear not to have used. As our team advised you when promptly attending your room, you had selected the cooling mode for the heating, full operating instructions are provided by the thermostat in the bedroom. Our orange due is diluted from 100% juice concentrate, using our precise mixer dispenser not watered down. Directions to our hotel are clear as to are car park signs for the exit, being only one entrance and one exit.
