"We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. "A quirky hotel room with a spiral staircase from room door and bathroom up to the bedroom. Excellent location for the town centre, restaurants and paths up the mountains. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Beware there is another hotel called Triana on the other side of town which caught us out (OK, one is Hotel Rural Triana, the other is Aparthotel Triana, but when you only have the name Triana in your head.....)"

"We were very pleased with aspects of our stay, the apartment was clean and bright, next to the sea and was comfortable and generally well equipped. However the shower was not hot and had to run for around 10 minutes before reaching its maximum, inadequate temperature. "On arrival found that the actual accommodation was a kilometer outside the village and that the nearest shops were 30 minutes drive away.
