"We had a good time at this property. I think it was a little confusing that we were actually located in a condo separate from any main hotel building (studio Venus) and there wasn’t too much around us. But it was very walkable and there was enough support from the hotel staff to get what we needed if the room didn’t have it. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. "

"Great property and fairly convenient location. About 10-15 minute walk to Sunnegga lift and about 5 minutes to the bus. Ski locker and boot room adjacent to entrance makes gearing up very straightforward. Property manager very professional and responsive. Only downside was a door lock that didn’t work. "Super smooth check in process. Loved the views ans silence at Overlook Lodge compared to a regular room at Cervo. Staff was extremely attentive and were accessible at all times. I was jumping out of my bed every morning at sunrise to enjoy the views! At a little extra cost you can also enjoy breakfast and spa at Cervo. Hotel has direct connection to the lifts! I would recommend it to everyone and stay here again!"

"Beautiful appartement with amazing view on the Matterhorn. We were a family of 8 staying in the 4 bedrooms penthouse. We loved our stay there and the wellness spa area was a lovely way to recover after a day of hiking. The only comment we have is about the kitchen supplies. If you want to cook a meal for 8 persons, there is very limited kitchen supplies. No scissors, no cutting board, no cheese grater, only 2 small cooking pans. We made a cheese fondue and there were only 6 cheese fondue forks....

"Phillip(manager) wasnt open to compromise. made reservation for the apt&tried to cancel. Philip has 30 day cancel policy& I canceled 29 days&18 hours.asked if we could cancel&be charged 1or2 night penalty. He wouldn’t discuss it&said it’s the rule.we ended up going. we are happy as we had a wonderful time in Zermatt. After we had unpacked we find out the oven is broken. This hotel is within walking distance of the train station in Zermatt and all of the lifts to the mountains. We also walked to Randa one day. "We were greeted with a kind knowledge staff member who was compassionate to the fact we were tired and disoriented in a new country. The room was heaven with a great view of the Matterhorn from our spacious balcony.. The bed was so comfortable. There was plenty of room for our luggage and clothes. Tbe bathroom seemed newly remodeled with a large vanity and nice walk in shower. The breakfast buffet was a treat! There was a variety of local breads and cheeses that we don't see much in America. There was the usual eggs, bacon, fruit, and cereal, all displayed with style. We were happy to find that were were in walking distance to everything, restaurants, shopping and points of interest. Zermatt is a beautiful city and the Jagerhof hotel is the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to experience the beauty of the Switzerland!!! "
