I have had a couple of stays at this hotel and would have no hesitation in returning. Great staff, great location and excellent rooms. Perfectly situated in a convenient spot near the Rialto - close to water buses, but in a quiet street so feels quite quiet. Would highly recommend.

I can’t recommend the hotel and staff highly enough. I can’t fault it. The breakfasts are very good with an excellent choice across the board. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. Although close to the Rialto (easy if you need/want to use water transport) it is in a quiet spot. It is ideally placed for good restaurants too. The hotel does have an excellent restaurant but it is for a special occasion rather than everyday food. Excellent food! I look forward to the next time I can stay at this hotel.

We felt like royalty at the Ai REali di Venezia....the breakfast was very good, the staff incredibly friendly, especially the front desk personnell. Very helpful when we had questions. Bravo!!

The hotel is in a great spot - minutes from The Rialto and 5 mins from San Marco. There is a very good breakfast and staff were very good - both in the breakfast dining room and staff reception. My only criticism would be that the hotel bar was a bit drab and can only think it doesn't get very busy there. The hotel was fully booked mid January which must tell you something. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Everything about Hotel Ai Reali was perfection! From the months ahead, Elisa made sure every request was granted...she is definitely the MVP of the hotel! Everyone was simply awesome! I would definitely recommend this hotel to ANYONE that wishes to be pampered around the clock!

The Property is located on a quiet street. The water taxi can usually (depends on tide) take you right to the door. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very clean. The staff is very Welcoming. The breakfast was great. Our room was beautiful despite being on the lower end for the hotel. The shower was large and had great water pressure. The location cannot be beat. It is 6 minute walk from St. Marcos Square. It is about 5 minute walk to the vapporetto station that can take you all around. You are 5 minutes from Rialto Bridge. It is so close to everything but not in a busy section as on that particularly small street the hotel is the only thing until you cross a bridge almost at the doorstep of hotel and then you have a lot of cute shops and restaurants. We spend 4 nights in Venice and walked around a lot and always said we were thrilled we were staying at our location it was truly the easiest access to everything while not being in a busy area. Highly, highly recommend staying here and will do it again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ai Reali for our honeymoon and it was the best place we could have chosen. Our room was cleaned and organized every day while we went out to explore. We were given a free tour and the breakfast buffet everyday of our stay was wonderful! The staff was extremely kind and helped us any time we had a request or question. We will definitely be coming back!

Very helpful staff — due to a train strike, Alessandra re-routed all our travel plans to guaranteed trains and boats for the day, quickly and without issues. Breakfast was excellent. Great place. Absolutely beautiful inside. Staff well above average - faultless. Great location with everything walkable and real Venice only minutes away in all directions. But with the location comes overnight noise from the adjacent Campo. Not the hotel’s fault but be prepared for the 3.30am local laundry collection cacophony 3 times a week. We’d definitely go again - just armed with earplugs!

I stay in a lot of hotels, but this was one of the best. Huge room, excellent air con, very helpful staff. Particularly enjoyed playing board games (that i brought) in their little library than no one else even looked in.

The AC was not working, the room was very hot! We were not informed about the issue, and we had to switch rooms, one of the rooms had a bad smell of humidity and my daughter got an allergic reaction from it. The other room had a very small bed and me and sister barely fit on it. The day after the AC still was not working and we had to switch hotels. The experience was terrible

Dear Mrs. Zamora,Thank you very much for having chosen Hotel Ai Reali and for leaving your feedback.We feel sorry your experience wasn't a perfect one and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.We had indeed some issues with the AC that could not be solved during the night when you came at the reception yelling and swearing at the front desk. The only option at that time was moving you in other rooms of the same category where the AC was working. The next day you didn't say anything, you went to explore the city leaving all the 4 rooms occupied without giving the staff the possibility to assist you. We think it is important to mention all the details to avoid any misinterpretation, especially for our future guests that must know that our main goal is to have happy and satisfied guests and we'll always do our best to accomplish this goal!When you came back you weren't happy with any offered solution and you accepted a free upgrade (into a Royal Suite) in our sister hotel and asked as well for a refund. Our staff went above and beyond to satisfy your needs and requests, but nothing was enough.Best regards

This was an amazing hotel and the highlight of our multi-city Italian trip. The hotel is situated between Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, easy to walk to both. We accessed it via water taxi. The front desk, concierge and other staff were excellent. Our suite was beautiful, large with a lot of space, a dress room and a great bathroom. The furniture was elegant and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was a fairly standard continental breakfast. We ate dinner at the restaurant Alle Corone, which was a separate experience worth doing another review, but I would just say excellent gastronomic experience.

A lovely place to stay in Venice!
The only *problem we had was the day we left the water taxi was not able to make under the bridge to the hotel as the water was too high (full moon and high tide) so we had to walk to Rialto to be picked up but the hotel arranged for their porter to take our big bags, which was a god send.

Air conditioning did not work. Ultimately had to change rooms before bed, which should have been offered on first complaint. It is an old building, which is charming, but really feels very under-maintained. Apart from air conditioning not working (first room), the shower took forever to get hot (both rooms), shower drained poorly (first room), sink drain was broken (second room).

Dear Mr.Jivraj,Thank you for having stayed with us and for your feedback.Unfortunately, there was a problem with the AC and we are sorry you had to move during your stay, but we are happy to have found a solution immediately. Ai Reali hotel was opened in 2012, but the palace is from 17th century. Such an old building despite the restoration needs continuous maintenance and we can assure you that our team works daily, seven days a week to make things work.To say that it is "under-maintained" is not entirely correct and is not appropriate. Perhaps you would have preferred a structure in a modern style, but this is not one of our characteristics with regard to style and design. We received your comments shortly after you have checked out and this gave us the possibility to verify the mentioned issues. Everything was perfectly working in both rooms (except the AC in the first room, that was fixed the next day).2 out of 5 is a rating too strict for the service received; during the check out you have praised the staff for the treatment received; in fact your review surprised us, but we hope to have you again as a guest for a perfect stay! This property is an old palace converted into a hotel. The surroundings are gorgeous. The rooms are unique staff is amazing and there’s nowhere else I would like to stay in Venice.
