Great little gem to have a nice get away. Not far from trails, water and other small towns. No TV or radios in the room, great way to disconnect. You can always go downstairs and just talk and watch. Really thoughtful on the morning continental breakfast. Just a beautiful place to relax at.

Very cute inn built in 1879, so old but nice with all the amenities. Very clean room. Staff was lovely and dinner was good. All around nice stay.

Awesome spot.
We really enjoyed our two night stay. The place is uniquely charming - it combines some of the decor of a European alpine refuge with the quality of a great bed and breakfast . Needless to say - room and bathroom were squeaky clean. Excellent restaurant and super friendly staff!

The staff is sincere in their hospitality. The location is excellent for trips to view scenery. Their restaurant meal would match any metropolitan fancy experience. We arranged our Colorado trip specifically to spend two nights with this staff and this lodge

I loved the time my husband and I were there. The staff were super nice, the food delicious and the hotel is very cozy. Definitely we will go back.

A great location to do lots of site-seeing
Low key, away from the crowds. Super friendly staff. Fantastic food, including Chef made breakfast quiche. Overall great stay. Very unique experience.

Loved the ambience of this Inn, which was built in 1879. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed. Owners and staff clearly take great pride in the product they deliver to guests. We will be back

Lovely get away for us! Historic hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms are very small, and the building is very old, but to us that was all part of the charm. Food was delicious !

My room was small with a low ceiling. The breakfast is more of a continental breakfast. Walls were very thin; we could hear the next door people coughing. Hotel rooms was clean. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful view.

Relaxing and interesting.
We loved our stay at the Twin Lakes Inn. The building and environs were charming. The rustic decor brought me right back to my summer camp days. The hubby loved all the historical aspects. The customer service was top notch. The food in their restaurant was good. Lots of beautiful vistas in every direction, both from the car and along the nearby trails. We hope to return!

The ONLY bad thing was that the water temperature changed a bit in the shower when someone else flushed the toilet etc. What do you expect when the place was built in the 1800's? LOL...Awesome place with lots of character.

This was quite the experience, in a positive way, this inn is in town that has 28 residence, so if you blink you will miss it, and we did, had to turn around. This is very secluded, but clean and quite place, you forget that is 2019. The beds were comfy and we shared a bathroom, so at night I had to go out to use the bathroom in the hallway, no big deal nobody was wake anyway. The breakfast was pretty poor, bagels and cereal, but they had some good quality and selection of teas. Hummingbirds everywhere enjoying the feeders on the front porch, very cute.

Friendly historic hotel
Historic hotel with lots of character, updated with today's amenities. Rooms are small- also noted in description - but well appointed with comfortabl bed. Bathrooms are shared as advertised but well stocked with all you'll need. Staff are super friendly. Good dinner menu well prepared. Setting is beautiful.

Love Twin Lakes Inn
I loved staying at Twin Lakes Inn. All the staff was amazing, especially Andy. I was kind enough to run home and lend me a cable to charge my Garmin, and a socked to charge my phone. The restaurant as always was great. Twin Lakes Inn has the best hamburgers. Great place to stay for a visit, and location wise very good if you plan on climbing Mount Elbert.

Great place to stay.
Restaurant is great. The staff is polite and friendly and the Inn is super clean. Plus there are tons of trails to hike. Take a trip to Independence Pass or the Maroon Bells as well.
