"This was quite a find - with such an interesting name, I just had to book a night there. It really is a jewel, it seems very new. We arrived early and had a splendid greeting. In view of our disability and difficulty walking, we were changed to a ground floor room which was spacious and seriously cool in the current heatwave. It feels like a farm with all the lovely hens and chicks around. Breakfast was ample and tasty. "

The very high heater pumped lots of warm air, loudly, into the top of the room, which didn't quite ever make it down to the bed where we were. We were able to get a very warm blanket from the front desk eventually, and got some sleep. I'm sure it's fine in the summer."
