Besides the renovations the property is incredible, rooms are clean and well organised, staff are friendly and overall a great hotel

Should be noted it was under construction/renovation. We stayed in an updated room that still needed items completed like a toilet paper holder installed. The Sunday morning manager was awesome and so helpful!

The outside, lobby, and certain floors are under construction. It is loud outside and inside. The train to north Sydney is also under construction and you have to switch to a bus for the last 2 stops. They said you could prepay for breakfast for it to coat $25. Then on our last night there we went to book it for the following morning and they said that was only an offer at check in. Even though at check in we said we would think about it and they didn’t mention that. With the outside of the building being under construction it was always a pain for Uber drivers to figure out how to get to the door. Not worth the small amount of saving they are offering.

Property is getting better each time I stay- staff are nice rooms are clean- still some issues with the water taking while to heat up in the shower then bam...Hot!, but all good for 1-2 nights-

We ere booked to stay Feb.15 to 17 but upon arriving, there were No rooms available. We asked them to help us find accommodation nearby. .. which they did at Citadines North Sydney, unfortunately, they booked correct date 15 to 17th but wrong month. It was for April. We turned up to Citadines Hotel but we have to leave because No rooms available. We wasted our money on Uber fares. It was a nightmare. Worst was the Uber driver took us to a residential area instead of the Train station. The uber driver cannot speak English when I was asking him to bring us to Train station. A nightmare for us.

Terrible customer service by young lady on my 5th night and it ruined my stay 😵 too much construction going on around the building and the entry point was slippery and unsafe from the light rain we had in Sydney.

Check in was poor due the the staff member flirting with a guest. While the rooms have been recently renevated some things have still not been finished properly in the room and the pillows are horrible.

The first room we stayed in the aircon didn’t work. I went and spoke with the staff and they gave us another room. However there was no room service as they are renovating, the renovation is not mentioned in the website. They have these signs that you can put on your door to opt to not have your room cleaned until you leave and you get a $10 voucher everyday for food and beverages for when you check out of the hotel, (which I thought was for any food or beverage), but you can only use them for the restaurant which they don’t tell you until you try to use them. The room was nice but a bit small. Staff were friendly but very hard to get a hold of via phone. When using the key for the door sometimes it didn’t work or took 4 - 5 times before it worked. I couldn’t connect my phone to the tv to watch movies and they had limited channels on what you could watch. The only way we were able to get dinner or lunch in the hotel was to Uber eats everything.

Our stay was cancelled by the hotel without permission and the staff had absolutely no sympathy for me and my family. Luckily Wotif came to our rescue and moved us to a lovely hotel

good location and bus nearby. massive renovation and if we knew this wouldn't have booked. issues with noise and we were advised no normal tv but Netflix available in the newly renovated rooms. Netflix NOT available. Usual hotel breakfast but got very boring. great location and convenient as we were visiting family but think "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". Nothing resolved with issues and other guests had issues with aircon too.

The hotel is under renovation which is fine but our room was terrible. Our light in the main bedroom didn’t work, the aircon was broken and we were so hot and uncomfortable. The wet bar was not stocked with enough bowls and glasses for a two bedroom suite. The room was noisy at 7am in the morning with construction noise. The location was good though and once the renovations are complete then it might be a better place. Would have been better to close to complete the renovations sooner.

For the cost, it was lacking in some facilities eg biscuits with coffee, or room service. Renovations going on, curtain hanging off rod, building ropes hanging past window which impacted on my privacy. The lift gave the appearance of being tempory. Old style bathroom.

The hotel is dated and currently under renovation. The bar is currently not operating and the restaurant is only open for breakfast, which was very average if that. The room itself was fine, but yes old and due for that renovation. It didn’t appear that the staff were overly happy or helpful from check in to check out. Over priced for the service and condition of the building and its current offerings.

The room I booked was basically an apartment. Sure, it was a little old and tired, but that's why they're currently renovating the hotel, and why the price was very competitive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and all around professional. Housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. Check-in was fast and easy.

At least the room was good
Room was great as always. Staff were not what i would describe as friendly. Maintenance on the building was not meant to start until 8am but started at 7am on the dot which was a little annoying.
