Loved the location of this hotel in Swansea. Beach on the doorstep, Marina with bar’s & restaurants a stones throw away and city centre within easy walking distance. The inside of the hotel and service was great. The outside of the hotel looked tired & a little like a dated community centre. The big tall building in the background is not the hotel. It’s the brick building in front.

Nice environment near the beach. They have nice bar. No drinking water provided in the room. The bathtub is a little slippery. Should have provide with additional mat for the bathtub.

The property is in a very perfect and quiet place Room got condensation water a lot on the window Housekeeping staff doesn't greet even though you greet them Reception and some Restaurant staff very professional and welcoming

Very comfortable rooms, just off the beach with a lovely sea view, kind staff, and near museums, a large Tesco, and the bus station (but 20 minutes to the train station). Would rate even higher if it weren't for a few small things: The bathroom fan runs loudly for all but a few hours overnight. The heating is an old unit that is also quite loud. There are no electrical sockets near the night stands. Though there is thankfully refillable bottles for the shower, the sink soap is still an old-fashioned bar that makes a mess and runs out quickly. There is a space clearly made for a refrigerator but sadly there isn't one. I don't at all mind being given the option to forgo housekeeping, but in that case would recommend larger bins and extra TP. Would still recommend and stay again.

Room not ready
Check in was 3pm I use your hotels for comfort and a nice service. Was told when I arrived at 4.45 that my room was not ready. I made them aware I have work to do as I travelled on business. Finally got in my room at 6.10 pm was really behind on my work and ended up having food delivered to my room

The floor of one of the bathrooms was not clean. Despite having requested daily housekeeping, we were not on the list. Soon put right though.

Overall was a lovely place to stay. Just would say to visit the evening meal menu, as did go to dining room to eat though myself and my friend found nothing on menu we would choose and ended up leaving dining room and going shop for nibbles.

Not what I'd expect from a 4 star hotel but still a pleasant stay. The room was mostly clean, the bed was spotless. Shouldn't have to pay for parking, £5 a day isn't great. Good location. Couldn't afford to eat there, very expensive menu. Half the staff were very friendly, the other half were a bit absent.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location
The rooms have been modernised since our last stay and the room was lovely, plenty of space and in the bathroom a large area for toiletries etc. Service was excellent, the breakfast was also very good. Will certainly stay again and would recommend. Perfect location, with bars and restaurants within a 2minute walk of the hotel. Sea view a bonus!

Hotel staff very friendly and extremely helpful, rooms very good bathrooms little dated but still clean, breakfast was very expensive £17 😳 per person. Weatherspoons 5 min walk if you want a cheaper option. Hotel says it has car chargers but they have been removed. All in all very nice and would stay again
