"Clean, nice, superior service. Old school in a good way (pen and paper checkin, physical key, etc), but also a little dated - the room could use some TLC. Our mini suite was very spacious and clean. Lake view was fantastic! Free mini bar. Bathroom was good, but no toiletries! Only one do-it-all “soap”. If it was for about half a price that I paid, I’d give it a better score, but I expected more."

"This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern. Our room had a balcony and nice view (but deck a bit creaky, due to age of planks - like I said, it is an old structure). "The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right."
