Perfect location so close to the sandy path to beautiful South Durras beach! The view from our cabin verandah was of banksia trees, birds and bush. Good facilities, friendly welcome and very comfortable. We’ll be back.

The perfect spot for families
We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Big4 South Durras. So much for the kids to do. The staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The facilities at the park were brilliant. The BBQs were clean and worked well and the bathrooms were so clean. We will definitely be back.

Staff were wonderful and accomodating. We had a quiet 'bush facing' campsite, and it was not overly crowded whilst we were there.

Most peaceful and relaxing holiday!
The Park is beautiful surrounded by Beautiful coastal gums and ferns. Plenty of wild life around to enjoy. Many things to do if desired or just sit and enjoy. I recommend the Big 4. A special thanks to the lovely Leah. We will be back for our fourth trip again in the future. Fishing, kayaking, swimming, and bushwalking to name just a few of the things we did.

Very smal Park people next to us we’ve very nosey and not in a friendly way everybody else respected our privacy the park is extremely clean soroubded by forest each morning we were able to feed the lauriketes fresh apple walk across the road to beach good for kids yah bikes too

needs a bit of updating
very peaceful and quite, pristine beach with plenty of kangaroos roaming the grounds. cabins are somewhat dated with poor quality furniture and no awning cover over entry deck

We are glad you enjoyed beautiful South Durras. Perhaps next time you can try a different cabin, as our Courtyard cabins are our most basic cabins and are the only ones without a roof over the deck.

My stay at South Durras was great, except that there were not hot showers in my cabin. We had to visit the public showers for hot water. Everything else were good!

Well looked after
Very clean and tidy, pLenty for kids to do, including a great pool. Very close to the beach. Parking van and site size quite tight though.

Get back to nature!
Beautiful to hear the sound of the surf. Kangaroos roam the park and children watch movies on the outside screen. People mingle around the camp kitchen. Theres a swimming pool and playground for the children. Really nice hot water showers only 3 minutes though. Bore water at taps dont drink. Special water taps for drinking. National forest all around. Lovely spot

Took the kids for a looong weekend.
The staff are fabulous, really welcoming and happy to help. They keep the place clean and tidy and all the facilities were ready to go as promised, eg the jumping castle and outdoor movie theater.

Awesome spot; great service.
We were really pleased to turn up to a fantastic unit in close proximity to the beach with incredibly friendly wildlife. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Town was only a very short drive. A lovely spot that we'll be sure to return to.

Quiet caravan park close to the beach
A friend and I were in need of a small break. We were both so glad we booked here that we would definitely visit again. The park is small, quiet and secluded. The only negative is you definitely need your own transport. Upon arrival you can see native wildlife roaming free, not bothering anyone. You can hear the waves crashing onto the sand and you are instantly in relax mode. Staff are polite and enjoy a chat! The park is clean. It has a small camp kitchen area, though it, as well as the admenities are kept clean. We are both looking to come back. Myself and hubby hopefully with our camping trailer and my friend staying in a cabin.

We had a perfect stopover at Big4 South Durras Holiday Park on our road trip from Melbourne up to the Gold Coast. The park & our cabin were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wish we had longer to enjoy the facilities, we will definitely be back.

Unpleasant experience
Staff was rude and unpleasant. They spoiled our holidays. Their approach was unprofessional. We were told to get out when we stood up against their rudeness. I will never recommend big 4 to any of my friends and family.

Small and quaint. The rooms are really tight but kinda cosy. It just get abit cold to sleep in winter night as there wasn't heater in the rooms.

MAGNIFICENT STAY NEAR BATEMANS BAY
STAYED IN A CABIN & LINEN WAS PROVIDED, THE ACCOMMODATION WAS SENSATIONAL. THE MANAGER/OWNER WAS ALSO BRILLIANT, I HAD MY RALLYCAR ON THE BACK OF MY CAR TRAILER & I WAS ALLOWED TO PACK IT INSIDE THE COMPLEX AS THE GEAR ON THE TRAILER IS VERY EXPENSIVE. NOTHING WAS APROBLEM, WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN AND ITS ONLY 10 MINUTES TO BATEMANS BAY RIGHT ON A BEAUTIFUL BEACH.

We loved the location, it is just across the road from the beach. The cabin was lovely, very clean and cosy. The kids loved the jumping castle, the play equipment and seeing the Kangaroos jumping around the park.

Perfect for a relaxing weekend
This was the second time we had stayed in a couples villa at Big4 South Durras. As with last time, we had a fantastic relaxing weekend. The facilities are modern and clean and the staff are super friendly. There is a small dishwasher too which is unusual for a cabin of that price point. We're looking forward to our next stay!
