Rita was so kind to us during our visit, going above and beyond and preparing even a breakfast for us to take on the road. Also, the hotel was right by Duomo and ideal for seeing Siena day and night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well located hotel. Service was impeccable. Breakfast conveniently located close to the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at this establishment. We enjoined the view of the Duomo from our window.

Great location, next to the Duomo. Gorgeous rooms and very nice hosts. Only downside is that you hear all the noises coming from the street at night. So, if you have a hard time sleeping with noise, this might not be a good option. Other than that, highly recommended!

Wonderful!
This little boutique hotel was great! The service we received was above and beyond. A special thank you to Andrei? the young man at the front desk upon our departure. He was very helpful. The location was wonderful for exploring Siena on foot, with the beautiful Cathedral right at your doorstep. It is a cab ride from the train station but was only 18 Euro.

Prime location; comfortable room
For us, the location is unbeatable. It was across from the Duomo and a short walk to the Campo and a lot of great restaurants. We were there during the Palio so it was a little chaotic but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One warning: if you are driving here, you have to valet park outside the city gates and get driven in.

Authentic home of where Pope Alessandro stayed or lived. The front desk staff very helpful and nice. It’s rustic but still clean. Centrally located. We didn’t have real hot water but didn’t mention and they were so upset about it. It’s a little noisy outside but totally worth it to be in such a great area and be part of the history.

Rita and Andrei were going above and beyond to help us get to most out of the Palio. Restaurant reservations, helpful insight and being sure we would not miss anything from our time in Siena were part of their efforts. Splendid location and amenities. The breakfast is fabulous !

We stayed in the private suite of Pope Alessandro VII. It was quaint, lovely and comfortable. It has a connecting room which was great for my daughter, giving her privacy. Good modern shower. We were just a few step up the stairs from the Battistero. A dozen of so steps from Il Campo. Excellent location. Alessandro our host was very friendly, helpful and a walking history encyclopaedia on the history of Siena. It was really interesting listening to him.

At the door of the duomo
Oh after finding a parking space in the lot, we took the escalator up to the top of the village in sienna. The hotel was a short block away and at the foot of the doors of the duomo.Charming restaurant was connected to the hotel where we had breakfast and also a dinner outside at the steps of the Baptistry. The hotel was once a resident of the pope. And there are secret underground tunnels connected to the church. It had very interesting modern decor and historical artifacts combined. Very quiet except for the bells which toll a lot. We loved it! Linda was so helpful we truly appreciated her !!

Perfect location. Breakfast served at the cafe across from the entrance in the square. Nice room although limited view. Really helpful and friendly staff. Would stay again but next time would use the paid parking rather than the valet parking. I think it would have been more convenient although there was nothing wrong with it.

Very walkable location
This hotel has such an amazing location and the staff are wonderful! Our window looked right out to the Duomo and we could walk anywhere in the city we wanted to go. They gave us great suggestions for dinner too! we used the parking that was in a lot we could walk to. it was very convenient and was easy to get in and out of especially after you learned the town. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning Siena Hotel
I wish we had more time to spend at this beautiful hotel and in Siena as both are gorgeous! We will definitely return when we have more time. The wine cellar looks amazing. Be prepared to walk up hills and maneuver the many stairs of the hotel with your luggage.

Disappointing Stay
In general the stay was very disappointing. The listing advertised parking but it turned out to be a very complicated and costly parking process. The shower in the room was located in a glass booth at the foot of the bed (!) and the floor drainage was 100% blocked. Water flooded the whole room and soaked our luggage. The manager on duty did not seem to see this as an issue.

Lovely stay in the heart of Sienna
Amazing location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it a superb on comfort is b/c the pillows were a bit flat and uncomfortable and the A/C did not work very well and it happened to be very hot for the time we were in Sienna.

A Taste of Siena
The apartments are really different and interesting - you feel integrated to the city. The staff are fun and engaging and are really enthused - the wine tasting in the cellar was a real added bonus.

We were staying at their suite which commands an amazing room with a great view of Il Battistero, one of the famous attractions in Siena. Their wine collection was pretty great as well(their wince cellar has some background stories which fascinated us).Lovely location as well.

A night in siena
We stayed one night at this hotel on a drive through the area. The hotel was nice and and the hotel staff were wonderful! They went above and beyond in taking care of our needs. I also highly recommend their car park deal if you are driving!

Loved the location of this small boutique property with lots of history. Walking distance to all the sights!. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The building is old and since it is in a central location it is loud and can hear people talking outside of your window till late hours. The dining area is central to all the rooms and I was woken up every morning by other guest having breakfast but overall a wonderful experience
