"This property is in a relatively good location in Siena and has many positives. However, the use of perfumed cleaners in our room was a real issue as we had an allergic reaction. On request, the cleaning staff quit using the fragrance products. Thank you. Also, this hotel does not have an elevator. This was not an issue for us, but could be a real problem. The breakfasts were not really great. "

"It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed. The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic. Generally I expected more from the property given excellent rankings but maybe I set totally wrong expectations "
