Prepared to get nickled and dimed at this horrendous hotel that is just blocks from the notorious mass lootings at Union Square and the Tenderloin. On top of the total nightly cost you pre-paid, you'll also have to pay $20. Of course, they don't make you pay this upfront so they seem cheaper than your other options, and once you're there, it's not like you're going to move hotels for $20.
Literally 5 minutes after I booked, I called to request a refund and they refuse. Let's be honest-- this is a pure money grab, combined with a lazy receptionist. It's not like I blocked another customer from booking that room in the 5 min I held it.
If you're going to force me to use your poor service, you think I'm going to be a happy customer?
