I was hit with an additional Airport fee of around 8.00 USD per day because hotel is near an airport. What a scam. It's no longer consumer friendly but profit driven. That was total disappointment. Also I got bite about 3 times by a spider. Saw it when I walked into the room. Tried to kill it but missed, that night the spider feasted on my back and legs. Very painful, so I took pictures. Breakfasts were good and good quality.

We are sorry for your displeasure with the Airport fee. We understand that any unexpected fees/charges can be inconvenient to our guests, so we do our best to ensure all information is clear. It sounds like you are referring to the amenity fee of 7.99 per day - a fee implemented so that the hotel can retain the services and amenities it provided pre-pandemic. As many returning customers may have noticed, the hotel's rates have decreased by more than fifty percent since the onset of the pandemic. Rather than eliminate hotel amenities altogether and reduce hotel staff, we have chosen to charge a fee that is fully disclosed at the time of booking to help pay for the retention of amenities and services. It's unfortunate to learn about the pest issue you encountered in your room. The property is serviced regularly by pest control, and we have procedures related to our pest policy that should have prevented the possible pests you discovered, so it's strange that this happened. This is a serious allegation that would require investigation if true. We request you contact the hotel directly with more details so we can investigate the matter. Thank you for your feedback. Only positive, Reception staff Betty was great and a comfy bed. Room was okay very old bathroom tough. Very difficult get to town only paying an Ubber No concierge or anyone willing to tell you what to do as a tourist . $40 has been taken from my account and I am unsure why , have sent a couple of emails and still haven’t heard back :( Gym equipment did not work. I suggest you to pay little bit more and stay in a better hotel. Disappointed.

Included breakfast was standard but unlike other Holiday Inn Express locations, there was sufficient food for everyone eating breakfast: Great Job food service team! I was worried there would be significant airport noise, I never noticed a thing. My room was located near the elevator bank but I never heard any noise. So that was good. I had to use the laundry facilities. The front desk exchanged coins and the mini-store in the lobby sold detergent. Detergent was approximately $4.50 and washer and dryer were both $3.50. The laundry facility was conveniently on my floor and offered two commercial washers and two commercial dryers. The dryer cycle was :45 minutes long and my clothes were perfectly dried in only one cycle. A folding counter is located in the laundry room. The laundry facility was clean. I used the hot tub. It was a nice feature to have after driving 9-hours from Oregon. I only wish the lighting could be dimmed to make it more relaxing, a minor inconvenience. The small fitness room looked cleaned. The airport shuttle schedule is posted in the lobby. I tried returning my rental car the night before my flight and waited for the shuttle back to the hotel; it never came after 30-minutes. Ultimately, I took the airport tram to long-term parking (last stop) and walked back to the hotel (~10 minutes). The morning of my flight, the shuttle arrived as scheduled. The shuttle makes pickups at two additional hotels before the airport drop-off. Plan accordingly.

All our fees are always disclosed, so it is strange that any particular charge came as a surprise to you. Most times, a miscommunication about charges is easily explained. We are completely transparent about charges and happy to verify all charges with you. Just so you are aware, it may so happen that a portion of your total is due at the hotel vs. paying online with your room fees, meaning it is not in addition to what you booked - it's just not collected online. Regarding the receipt, the hotel does not provide receipts for bookings made via third parties like Expedia. Guests need to contact their booking agents directly for this. That said, a receipt of your stay can be given, and an explanation of charges can be offered, but only upon request. We request you to contact the hotel immediately regarding your billing-related concerns so we can investigate and resolve the matter. Like any other hotel across the US and around the world, we charge a deposit for the incidentals that may occur during your stay. If not utilized, this amount is released immediately at check-out, subject to a quick inspection of the room. We apologize if you were not made aware of the deposit in advance of your stay, and we will work on making this policy clearer before booking. Regarding the parking fee, please be aware that due to limited parking in this area, most hotels do charge a parking fee. Also, our parking fee is just 17.99 per day, which is much lower than other hotels in the San Francisco and SFO area that charge up to 75 per day with no in-and-out privileges. Sounds like you may have missed the information, but our parking fee is listed on our brand website, third-party booking sites, and your email confirmation. Lastly, just in case it was still missed, this information is on the registration card you sign when checking in and registering your car for a parking permit, and it is also on the parking permit. Unfortunately, complimentary water is not currently a Holiday Inn Express brand standard; therefore, it is not offered complimentary at any Holiday Inn Express property. It's regrettable to read that our housekeeping failed to exceed your expectations. Our housekeeping team works diligently to prepare each room meticulously, ensuring a fresh and clean environment for our guests, so it is strange that this happened. We do understand the importance of maintaining a clean environment, and we are sorry that our attention to detail left something to be desired in this case - this is very unlike us. Rest assured, we have taken note of your concern about the pullout couch bedding and will address it with our team to ensure our standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times.
