"It was our first time travelling to Rio, it took us 3/4 days of research to find a great hotel with a great price. This hotel delivered it! Although Barra da Tijuca is further away from the touristic area, it’s definitely worth the extra transportation time. The ocean is cleaner and the beaches less crowded, and most important, a lot more safe! The staff at the hotel was amazing, great service and care. Specially at dinner, the server named Willian was awesome! "

"The Copacabana Arena is a beautiful property, I would highly recommend getting the suite. The stunning views were fabulous to wake up to go to sleep to every night. The front desk staff was especially attentive annd spoke perfect English. The room attendance did a wonderful job cleaning the rooms and keeping us in towels and other items. The rooftop bar is A fun place to hang out in the evenings. The location is excellent. The The morning buffet breakfast is also very good with a great variety...

"Average hotel for the region, average price. Large room with comfortable bed, though the A/C unit is fairly undersized and takes 1-2 hours to chill to any reasonable temperature. Shower had a general heating issue (affecting other rooms) and the front desk didn't take us seriously when we reported it in the afternoon (understandable-ish, who takes hot showers in Rio anyway? Other rooms didn't report it) and only realized something was really wrong far later when it was already evening and it was...
