Beautiful spot which we enjoyed exploring. Hotel was lovely- we had a ground floor riverside room which we were so pleased with- however the corridoor absolutley stank- it smelt like vomit! Coppa club resturant was in a lovely location. We booked dinner out in the terrace and was sat on a table behind the service area. The area we booked to enjoy the amazing view was obstructed by the messy service area which was a bit disappointing

The night before your arrival, a guest accidentally spilled milk on the carpet, and the product fermented, causing an unpleasant smell. We had to perform a deep carpet cleaning, and the issue has now been resolved.I hope this isolated incident has not left a negative impression and I hope to welcome you back soon. Room 49 has noisy fan all the time, Room 39 smells of weed Room 3 hear the end of the corridor bang every 5 mins. Staff in resturant having to keep chasing for drinks

Lovely room with a small balcony overlooking the Thames . Clean warm and well equipped . Bath and walk in shower. Lots of cozy seating areas downstairs. Will stay again .

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village
The hotel is so welcoming and cosy. It’s beautifully appointed with Loaf furniture and spa bathroom products. It’s retained a boutique feel despite being part of a small chain. The food is great and the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional with areas for working and where locals meet for catch ups. A major plus is it’s also dog friendly too . My only comment is as a solo female traveller I was put on the ground floor in an accessible room and I know many hotels have policies around this to ensure safety and due to the accessible room allocation I was not able to have a bath. That aside, looking out onto the banks of the river in the morning was lovely and when I return ( which I will) I will specify a request for a non -accessible room.

Excellent, dog friendly hotel right on the river (or slightly in the river in our case!). Helpful, friendly staff. Nice, relaxed bar & restaurant areas. Close walk into town, and great hiking nearby (head up the steep path to the common)

Cute little village, hotel is right on the Thames which is cool. The hotel is pretty much like the description and photos just without the gloss. Overall it was a comfortable stay. One point is it has a very well set up & equipment gym, not the biggest free space but ideal for a hotel. The only thing is it’s also a commercial gym and when they hold a group class they nominate the space and to hell with the hotel guests.

Superb night away in boutique style hotel
We stayed here after a celebratory dinner at a nearby restaurant. Great outlook into the river, warm and cosy environment in the public areas but spacious at the same time. Bedroom well equipped and a surprising large bathroom with nice products in eco bottles including superhero and shampoo in the really nice shower. Tea and coffee facilities were as expected - could have done with herbal tea but we managed to get some from bar downstairs.

We had a lovely overnight stay for a birthday. The staff were so welcoming and very helpful. Views from the dining terrace are magnificent! We will be back again in the summer when we will bw able to enjoy them for longer.

Short Stay at Streatley
We wanted to get away for a night and we have stayed at Streatley before. As before, it did not disappoint. The location is secluded and lovely, very picturesque, and the hotel itself is really well furnished and clean.

I do not have a good opinion. We were given a small room right next to the dining hall and kitchen. The room was safocatingly hot, andcthe small fan had no chance to help. Had to keep the ei dow closed with the drapes on because of the light and the noise from the dining room. When we told tbat to the manager next morning she just srugged the shoulders. Apparently there were a number of other rooms, bu they gave us the worst one.

Lovely quiet location
We stayed in the river front suite which is lovely and spacious. We were supplied with a Dyson fan but it was still a very warm room. The balcony is a nice place to have drinks, the cushions on the chairs are very dirty. Hotel is lovely nice peaceful location, service in coppa club was really slow, sometimes are drinks didn’t arrive at all.

I stayed in room 34 for one night The balcony overlooked the rear of the hotel The bed was large and comfortable The room was large too The shower room was modern and the hot water was great in the morning although I couldn’t get any hot water for a shower in the evening I had a sandwich and a pint from the bar which I ate outside overlooking the river Also for breakfast I had a delicious pastry From the Coppa club I had a plant based burger which was top notch Check in was quick and easy and staff very helpful In fact all the hotel staff were great

Came back to Coppa Club and would come back again.
Overall enjoyable 2 nights stay. The staff in the Coppa Club bar and restaurant areas were friendly, welcoming and engaging overall. There was a general can do approach across the F&B group. Of particular mention are Joe, Will & Jack in the bar/serving area who made us feel very welcome. We ate dinner on Nights 1 & 2 and took breakfast too. We ate burgers from the BBQ on the lawn on Saturday. We also hired a boat from Pure Boating which was fun. We paid for an upgrade to a River room on Night 1 and then transferred back to our room on Night 2. Would advise a review of room ventilation as was a very warm night in Room 30, even with the windows open. The fan helped very little, and due to the wedding there was outside chatter until post midnight. We eventually managed to go back to get some sleep. Overall an enjoyable stay, thank you.

The AC was insufficient which lead to a less than comfortable night. Given the forecast of global warming it might be a job of the management to consider plans for installing better temperature control in bedrooms.
