"Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly. Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting. "

"Excellent management & staff. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room we had was spacious & clean. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever experienced in a hotel. The shower was amazing, just what you needed after being in the heat of Kochin. All staff are polite, helpful and will go the extra mile. The General Manager was exceptional, we had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with immediately, again an above and beyond attitude displayed. We will return to this hotel and recommend...

"The front desk and staff were excellent. The room did not have fresh linen when we checked it, and the bedding had stains and was not fresh. The front desk was courteous and changed the bedding with fresh linen on our request. The restaurant is nice, the location is convenient, and overall the property and staff are very good. "

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "

"This was our first location in India and a perfect start to our vacation. We received a very warm welcome. The Hotel is near a lot of sightseeing features and the area around gives a good view in Indian live with not that much people in the beginning. But we arrived at the Beginning of the off season in Mai. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are clean and quiet. There is a rooftop pool and a in house Restaurant.
