I like that this property is a very nice family owned business. No fancy amenities but everything we needed - a refrigerator which even had a separate freezer, microwave and small tv. Large rooms with additional tables gave plenty of area to put your belongings. The prices are a very good value for what you get.

Will stay again
I was overall suprised about my stay. The lady at desk was very friendly. The room hasnt been updated in several years but it was very clean. It was one of the cleanest places i have stayed at. It is next to a busy road and it stormed one night and i didnt hear a thing the room is very quiet. I will stay there again.

Quaint place with adequate providings. What I expected for property but at a fair price. Brought own towels and wash rags per previous reviews…glad I did. Sink was disconnected under counter and got floor wet. Noted hair on bathroom floor and a bar of soap left on top of shower inset. Quiet property. Good food offerings nearby. Friendly staff. Large room with basic amenities.

There were some parts of the hotel that looked nasty. One plug was not working that the TV was plugged into. The towels were so small. The bed hurt my wife’s back. In the bathroom, the tub looked cracked and needed repair. There was dust on the hair dryer. In the morning, I had to move the coffee maker due to not plugged in and made it inconvenient. We will not be staying there again.

The hotel was old but clean! The only complaint is the towels were small and rough. The bathtub was stained but it was clean.

It was quite windy When we checked in. Papers flew out of my wife’s purse. The Innkeeper saw this through the Office window, came out into the cold and chased them down! He later unlocked the room and turned up the heat for us! Now that’s service! Every

Great place to stay.
We decided at last minute to come to town for the weekend and found the Hoosier inn to have rooms available still at a great price. We arrived about 30 mins before check in and they were very nice. We got into our room early and it was clean and nice. We will be staying there every time we come to town.

The facilities are dated, not updated or modernized for quite a while. We've been coming there for about 20 years and there has not been much modernization since we first stayed there. That may keep fees lower?

Normally I stay away from places with Inn in the name but after seeing many good reviews and having no other options in Portland, we decided to give Hossier Inn a try. The owners were incredibly sweet and the room was nice. Our room was a good size and clean. The bed was even comfortable. Perfect for a one night stay!

CancelPolicy Agreement type: Expedia Collect/ETP Base policy: 24-hour cancellation window Travelers who cancel 24 hours or more before 11:59 PM EST on the day of check-in are charged no fee. Travelers who cancel less than 24 hours before 11:59 PM EST on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 1 night plus tax. We tried call before 10pm on the day of arrival and didn't get a response until 10pm and only then on the day of arrival at 10pm did you state you would not be arriving. The hotel and Expedia never received a cancelation. So we tried to charged for a no-show which is one night plus tax and the card was declined. This is why we tried to call you back to get a correct form of payment to pay for the no-show cancelation per Expedia policy.

Great Sevice very fast check in . Room was very nice smelled good and very clean tv and cable worked good. Water pressure in the shower was great. Overall good stay would definitely stay again.

I chose this hotel as it was affordable and only 20 min from where i needed to be the next day. Friendly check in for arriving late at night. Room appeared clean, bed was comfortable. The air fresherner was too strong and too much though, almost felt like it was to cover something up.

Overall, I was very pleased with our stay. The facility was clean, and the staff was very nice. We received maid service every day with fresh towels. However, I only had1 coffee pack for 3 days, and the walls are thin and it was very loud. The bathroom tub leaked which was also loud, but it was cheap, had everything we needed, and I would stay there again.
