The hotel was good. We were two families and had two suites. Rooms were a good size. The breakfast was good, with good options of food. Staff overall were helpful and friendly. The only negative was it was extremely warm everywhere in the hotel and rooms. Upon informing the staff, we were told it was because the weather was unusually warm for the time of year and heating system was set. We also had an incident where reception made a mistake and gave our room to another family. We were woken up at 1.30am being told we were in the wrong room. Eventually the family turned away and came back with the staff member. To which, we said again we’d been in the room for 3 days now. He apologised and turned away. It turned out, we were in 518 and they should have been given 418! Hotel manager apologised the next day and offered us a complementary late check out until 5pm.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient to use Metro and bus. Gare du Nord Station was about 15 mins walk. Rooms were a bit small but were nice and clean.

Great!
My room was just the right size for me, the bathroom had a tub and a cute backlit mirror. The room was very clean and the staff were attentive. It may not be the beat part of town but I wasnt bothered and never felt unsafe. The metro is right out side the door and gard l'est is right across the street. I'd stay there again for convenience.

Great hotel near Metro Station
We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Gare De l'Est! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered room service twice and was very happy with the quality of food and how quickly we received it. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awessome with the rain shower head.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. They overchage you and it is a battle to get anything back. Still fighting. First of all despite being told of a late check-in (midnight) and the room not being refundable they gave it away. Read the reviews (sadly we didn't) they overcharge everyone. we were charged 80 euros above quoted price for room. It is sneaked through on your credit card.

obviously it’s a typical French hotel, quite ancient, but still very good rooms were quite small but more than enough for me on my own but the location has got some great cafes right next door and the train station is only 20 m across the road and that goes all over Paris from there . All in all, we enjoyed our stay there.

I would recommend this property, only for the fact that our room was clean, and we had no issues There. The bathroom wasn’t really fundamental. The only issue we had with the room is the AC was on full blast and the room was still muggy and hot. We opened the windows at night (we were in top floor) and that sorta solved the issue. I would recommend only because other hotels could definitely be worse. It’s across the street from the Gare du Nord train station so you hear the hustle and bustle from the street below and the people. Lots of sirens all through the night. My husband and I are kinda heavy sleepers so that didn’t bother us so much.

The worst Hotel i have ever stay in my life, its huge expensive they charge me by online booking and the facility like minus 100 (-100) Because the room so small compare others budget hotels and so expensive and i am totally not satisfied.

The stay was nice. The room was very warm, but it was also 90 degrees in Paris. The shower was dirty and could use a good cleaning.

The hotel is across the street from Gare D L'est train station. Does not have a hotel restaurant although many near by. Room was premium king so it was spacious. Great bed. Lots of pillows. A plus in my opinion. Clean. Great amenities. Staff friendly and professional. My stay was pleasant.

The place is great and the staff was great as well. The hotel was quiet but the outside was very noisy and I had to change room. The staff was very nice and provided me with a different room and a late checkout so I could sleep a bit more. The location was excellent as well!

Holiday Inn Paris
Only there for one night. It was the perfect location for us within walking distance to restaurants and the metro and directly across the street from the train station that we needed to leave from early in the morning. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Paris. The staff was very helpful. I take a medication that requires refrigeration and there was not refrigerator in the room. The front desk people went to the bar and retrieved a bag of ice for me to store my medication for the night. They were very friendly, helpful and kind.

The rooms were a good size. The breakfast served was very good. The property is close to major transportation and dining. The metro is accessible immediately outside the hotel. A major train station is across the road. Staff responded quickly to any issues. There was the facility to store bags until departure time to airport

It's a generally good hotel but due to the kind of crowd who hang out around the property, it's considered unsafe, especially at night. Even the taxi driver warned me about it. The room itself was nicely designed (I had the purple room), and clean. The 'aircon' only does ventilation, doesn't cool the room, I had to open the windows for cool air to enter the room. The carpet just outside the bathroom always has a wet patch (I suspect a leak but I've no time to investigate that). Breakfast was good (both spread and taste). What I really liked was the option to order breakfast served to the room at my preferred timing. I ordered that twice. The location, it has a bus stop and a metro entrance just a few meters from the hotel entrance. This would've been an excellent hotel if not for the unsafe crowd.

Great little place!
Great little place to stay! Located in an ideal location for travelling to and from the Eurostar , room was larger than expected, clean and offered lots of room accessories from hair dryer, iron, to tea making equipment. All the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly from cleaners, bar staff to the reception team. What a great section of breakfast too. Happy to visit again! Great value for money.
