Stay at this hotel regularly and always a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a great location. Rooms are always clean and the free breakfast is always delicious and an added bonus

I stay here ever. Single. Time! The only place I’ll stay when visiting Ottawa and in the best location you could ask for. I would take this place over a big chain hotel ANY day. So clean you can still see the vacuum marks. Always great.

I always enjoy staying here! It has so many thoughtful details in the rooms - computer work station with printer! Iron AND steamer (and it's clean!)! The rooms aren't the newest but in good shape and always kept really clean (personal pickiness) - especially appreciate that the shower curtains snap off and can be washed! The staff are unfailingly helpful.

Great hotel, beds comfortable and rooms spacious. Area is very central to the main sights, 15min walk. My only comment is there are quite a few hopeless people hanging around but caused no trouble. Lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel also provides a free laundry which is a bonus. Breakfast was decent enough, hot and cold options and plenty of water and juice available with take away bags available.

My second time staying here, staff are very friendly and courteous, the rooms are spacious with all the comforts of home (stove, fridge, microwave, living room with an extra tv. It looks like they are starting to do some upgrades as well. Will stay here again for my next visit.

This hotel is located in a perfect location. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast served was excellent. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. The only negative for us was the fact that our room was right next to the elevators and they were very loud.

Great room, very spacious, comfortable bed. Close to lots of restaurants, shopping etc. The rooms have multiple AC/humidifier stand alone units in the dinning room and the bedroom as the actual air/heat unit is in the living room area so it cannot reach the bedroom. The stand alones have to be filled with water to generate cold air which causes a lot of humidity. We felt like like we were on a wet camping trip the entire time. I realize this is an older facility and they have made a lot of efforts to upgrade it, however, the air issue is a big one in my opinion. We were facing West and I cannot imagine how it will feel like in the thick of July heat with the sun beaming all afternoon. The parking was also an issue. We were assigned a space and upon our return on the second day someone was in our space. We were reassigned another space much further which was an inconvenience to say the least, especially when it's pouring rain. All in all, good place for the value as you get an entire small appartment fully stocked, but the air issue was enough to deter us from returning.

My husband and I and our adult daughter stayed in an executive suite for 3 nights. Right away we were impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the front desk staff. The room itself was a good size - enough space and some privacy so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The location of the hotel is amazing. Great restaurants, cafes and bars. Walking distance to the parliament buildings and everything in that area. Our daughter even used the laundry room which was free. They even provided detergent and dryer sheets. The hotel itself is a little tired and the breakfast was only okay and just too crowded (which isn’t the hotels fault). We would recommend this for a larger family or group or parents with their adult children. I just can’t say enough about the front desk staff. They were exceptional.

Overall the Hotel was clean and fairly quiet. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The only thing I think needs re-thinking would be the above ground parking. It was very tight to manoeuvre, especially with larger vehicles.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. I was skeptical at first when I saw the room, but I was extremely satisfied with the taste and the ease of getting food. Space in the room is exceptional. Felt like home. Ample space for storage which would be hand if families visit. Great stay
