So we have stayed at this resort several times in the past. At least twice a year. Every time we have stayed, it was amazing. This past trip, not so much. We were staying for only 2 nights. Our first night we checked in, room wasn't ready as we were there an hour early. No problem. We went to Disney springs. Got back to the hotel around 730. Got info the room, not 5 mins after getting there we had a knock on the door informing us that our door lock was broken and it had to be fixed. Ok no problem. Was then informed that either me or my husband had to STAY in the room while they fixed it or they couldn't fix it. Took them 2 hours to fix. After both bars on the property were closed, all but 1 pool was closed. We weren't able to do anything that first night. On our anniversary. Oh! The kicker? They KNEW the door was broken after the previous guest reported it. But WAITED until we were IN THE ROOM to fix it. Tried to call the desk to make a complaint, in room phone didn't work. Texted the resort about it. No response. I was not expecting a full refund but at least a refund for the first night resort fee as we weren't able to leave the room! Nope. Nothing. Just an "I'm so sorry." From the manager. Going to think twice before staying there again
