Friendly staff also rang to say we had left a wine cooler bag in the room and would they like us to send it back to Wellington for me ? That’s incredible service. When I left my togs in a room a five star hotel in Auckland said they never ring as it would take up too much of their time. "

"Great place in central Napier, close to transport, variety of restaurants, supermarket, and beach. Only minor issue is that there is not a lot of sound proofing from outside noises so traffic noise does enter the room easily. But Napier is mostly a quiet town so this won't cause much of an issue for most of the night unless the street sweeper and rubbish truck comes by early which it did!."
