Disgusting is how I can describe this property. The water in outdoor swimming pool was murky. It obviously wasn't operational but there were no signs indicating no swimming. The hotel has maintenance issues and is in disrepair. Elevator and common areas smelled of dogs. Although the hotel was built or renovated in 2014, the walls and furniture had obvious chips or just broken. The floors in my room were sticky. The bathroom lacked shampoo and conditioner. The free breakfast consists of bland scrambled eggs, microwaved sausages, white bread, and make your own Belgian waffles. We were there for two nights and wanted housekeeping to clean the room after the first night. However, you need to request this by flagging down one of the housekeepers during the morning shift if you want fresh towels or other needs. This was the first and will be the last time I will be staying at La Quinta.
