For this level of lodging /-$200/night (ie. Hyatt House, Hilton Garden, Spring Hill Suites Marriott, etc.), Hampton Inn Newark Airport was a winner. Free airport shuttle, free breakfast, free wi-fi, premium bedding, excellent mattresses, modern interior, cleanliness, friendly staff, convenient location & good value. Only downside for me was location next to freeway is quite noisy, especially overnight. Would stay here again though. Recommended.

The distance to airport was much more than 0.2 miles. “Free shuttle “ was too complicated to take so I ended up paying $30. The room was clean though the coffee machine didn’t work unfortunate.

A pretty cool stay for a night or two. Staff was fast & friendly. Room was comfy & a decent size. If you’re driving in, bring your own pillows. (Not sure why but seems all Hamptons have bad pillows). Otherwise, no issues at all!

Hotel is convenient if your purpose is a layover after a flight at newark or if you have an early flight. Otherwise it is in the middle of nowhere and there is no restaurant in the hotel.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Hampton inn Newark airport. We are a Hilton property, however if you book on a third party you don't get the same benefits as you would if you were to book directly with Hilton. I do Apologize that you felt as if our service and staff was rude, we tried our best to get you checked in however your card wasn't going through and restarted all our credit card pads therefore it took longer to get you all checked in. Once again, I do apologize on behalf of our staff. Thank you for staying with us. And we do appreciate you feedback!
