The room was a nice size, but it was always stuffy. The AC worked the first day and after that it was really low and it wasn’t cold. We had to open the window for some freshness and the window would only open a bit. I always felt hot, but the lobby was always super cold. Only 2 out of the 4 elevators were working so it was always a long wait. Overall it was okay, but I don’t know if I would stay there again.

This was our second visit to this hotel. The location is fantastic and within walking distance of so many points of interest. So convenient! The rooms are modern and very clean. I especially love the bed linens and towels that are of very good quality. The beds are very comfortable. The gentlemen that meet you outside when you arrive are very friendly and welcoming. The gents at the luggage storage desk are also very welciming when we arrived early, and when we needed to store our luggage the day we were leaving. They made conversations about why we were in town, where we were from and what are plan were for the next 4 days. The staff at the front desk were not friendly. No warm smile, just going through the motions. We encountered 3 different staff members at the front desk. Early arrival, actual check in, and checkout. Three different individuals, all without smiles and welcoming positive attitudes. Come on, we are spending money at your property. We have a ton of choices! I gave the hotel five stars as the hotel itself is. Great location, exceptionaly clean, beautiful, comfortable rooms and bathroom, and great linens. These things are important to me.

A beautiful comfortable hotel near broadway theaters and time square. It’s surrounded by great places to eat and shop. If there is a member of your tribe who has trouble walking distances- a doorman and cabs are waiting! Super friendly and helpful staff! Parking is a half block away in a secure manned garage- the hotel validates the parking ticket on checkout! Definately a great choice!!!

Had a reservation for one night.The check in rep was very nice. Our room was on the 14th floor with one elevator working and pretty full compacity. Going back and fourth became a problem because of the wait time. Last night, called the front desk to ask about time allotment to ABC studios and to request the one hour late C/O .Was told that the request had to be made the day of. She then sent my call at 7 pm to the concierge when the message clearly said the office closed at 6. This morning before going to ABC to ask about the late C/O. The gentleman said no problem will take care of that now.We left came back at 12:30 went to the room to get our bags and the key did not work. Called the front desk and was told that the clerk should have told me to stop at the desk for a new key.We waited for security from 12:35 - 1 pm security never came. This is not a customer friendly hotel but then again..It may just be the NewYork culture. Definitely won't stay here again and will pass it on through the social networks.Treat people with respect.This hotel is not cheap!!! You pay a resort fee plus tax..It is not a resort!! Nothing was given,not even a restaurant

Elevator is under construction, had to use the service elevator and pass through the connecting hotel lobby. They state that the elevator’s are undergoing a renovation, very frustrating. No coffee maker in room, I’m guessing that’s because they want you to buy it in the hotel lobby, would prefer not to have to get dressed in the morning and trek downstairs and wait in line for a $7 small coffee. There are plenty of other hotels in the city to choose from, wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again.

Some area of the room new upgrades, mold around the sink definitely not good . Cleaning under the vanity sink not done well . Dust all over the light fixtures. For the money per night definitely not worth the money . Having to wait 5-10 minutes for the elevator another problem

The property is great! Good lobby, close to sooooo many things but the elevator situation is not the best. We have stayed here about 5 or 6 times when in NYC (and obviously like it because we continue to go back) but elevators are hard to come by. Usually they have two up and running and there is a wait going down to the lobby and coming up to your room but this time one was under an update so it took signifcantly longer.

This property is very close to all locations a tourist would want to visit. Unfortunately, the area around the property is somewhat in a bit of decline due to closing of businesses. It is good to see that the hotel is refurbishing their elevators, but it did cause some wait and line ups for elevators due to the upgrading. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cleaning staff are super good and we were pleasantly surprised with the booking.

I stayed here for a business meeting a block away. Choose this hotel due to proximity and walkability to said meeting. The elevator was an issue as the service elevator was out so I had to use the stairs up and down 4 flights. If I had not had luggage this might of been doable but with luggage and a laptop case it was challenging. The beds are in need of new mattresses and the room was just ok. I would not want to stay here again and would take extra time to uber to a meeting over being unable to sleep.

Very clean hotel and quiet. The front desk was very polite and helpful. Our room didn’t come with a microwave or fridge but we were offered if needed. They let us check in early as well! Which was very nice of them and helpful to us for our stay in New York. Everything went smoothly even with checkout. The front desk even texted us making sure we had everything we needed! The only reason I couldn’t give them a 5 star was that one of the elevators wasn’t working so it only left one small elevator available. So we usually had to wait to go up to our room everytime we got back to the hotel. But we would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

The staff wasn’t that friendly. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain and took us several asks to get it. Rooms are small. Beds not that comfortable. We were able To do early check in and late check out which was great. Close to metro, time square, Central Park and st Patrick’s church. Good area. The elevator is still under construction. The wait wasn’t that bad.

The position is great, only 2 blocks from Central Park. Underground stations very close too. Rooms are a bit old, some furniture look like a bit unkept. Unfortunately the hotel suffers lack of communication between departments and within the Reception team too, which charged (twice) the wrong card to settle accommodation. There is no minibar in the room (just an empty fridge), no breakfast available, only a coffee/snack shop next to reception. Might as well go to the closest Sturbucks.. There is bar downstairs though which we did not experience.

Concerning our in-room amenities, while we don't currently offer mini-bars, we do provide a refrigerator for personal use. For breakfast, we're exploring ways to offer more robust options, but in the meantime, we encourage our guests to check out the various local cafes nearby. We're sorry to learn you didn't get the chance to enjoy our downstairs bar, as it's a guest favorite. Elevator washout of Service. Waited 10 minutes for an elevator. Our room was hot had to have a window opened. Restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday. Overpriced. no refrigerator. Checked bag early the handle was broken when we picked them Up. Front desk lady was rude. Doorman was nice!

The room was comfy and quiet and the bed was plush. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. That being said, there are well documented short comings that need to be overcome, starting with the elevator. Only one was working and it is incredibly small.They did say we could use a freight elevator. The only other negative was the fixture to turn on the shower. It popped out of place. I would definitely stay here again and overall had a positive experience.

Staff was super helpful and everything was clean and pleasant! Only warning is that they are working on their elevators (as of Spring 2024) so there is often a long wait getting up and down and a pretty crowded experience once you get on.

This hotel is in need of some TLC. The reception area is ok but other communal areas need a lot of work. The lifts were terrible, often a 15 minute wait to go up or down, the service elevators helped a bit and after a few days two lift cars were taken out of service to improvements. The cleanliness in room needs improving and the bedrooms need a lot of work also - the decor is tired, there are holes in walls, bathroom door handle was hanging off - all of which reported to reception and promised maintenance would arrive but that didn't happen. The location is good, close to Times Square, Starbucks and a number of foot outlets close by, subway stations very close. the bar is not open on Sundays and Mondays which seemed a bit of a shame. Not the worst experience but definitely needs improving.

For a hotel with about 30 floors, when there only 2 elevators for floors 2 to 18, and one of them is being repaired, it would be a good idea to let patrons use the other elevators instead of having to wait for the elevator to go up to 18th and then come back down. Not impressed.

The checkin process was manual as their system was down. They didn’t know what room I had booked or anything. The rooms do not supply you with coffee or water. Our AC broke down in both our rooms for two nights straight. It was over 80 degrees in there with no circulation of air to cool down. I reported all of this to the front desk and it was never addressed.

The location is only a couple of blocks from Central Park and that was excellent! Our requested room was not available upon arrival, so that was not good. The lift situation does not help with ratings. They do offer the service elevator, however it appears that the lift issue has been noted for a very long time.

The property was in a great location with easy access to the subway! The only set back was the elevator. They are upgrading it and only have two working which made wait times long. We eventually ended up using the stairs! Other than that it was great!

We picked the hotel due to location. When we arrived it took us over an hour to checkin due to the fact that they couldn’t assign room keys. We has to wait at our door for over 15 minutes while a security went to let us in the room. Our TV never worked. And the shower head in the restroom was filthy. It was awful. Only good thing about this place was the location.

We had an amazing stay - it is completely safe and convenient. We ran in Central Park which was a block away - took in the art galleries, and theatre - all walkable distance. The hotel is closer to subway stations and restaurants- the rooms were larger and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fine, however the front desk staff was not very friendly. Every other NYC hotel that I've stayed at has been much friendlier. Would have liked more pillow choices. The worst thing was the elevators. There were only two working elevators for the entire hotel, which became very frustrating.

I liked how Park Central Hotel was very convenient, the maids were extremely kind to us, and that there were stairs. The reason I say that is because the elevators were a mess. #1 The elevators were stopping at every floor. #2 The elevators won’t open all the way. #3 Each time somebody got on, the buttons reset. #4 One of the elevators was shut down. For the room, the curtains in the shower were smelly and dirty. There was a lot of trash on the carpet. On the TV, we can’t check-out, and the previous person’s information is there. The key to get into the room wasn’t working at times, either. Some other people I noticed were also having trouble. “I have to sleep to get ready for work tomorrow, but I can’t do that if I’m locked out of my room😕.” they said. Those are the reasons why I selected the option “poor”.

Clean comfortable room. Within walking distance of most attractions in Central New York. Bar prices quite expensive and limited opening hours. Hotel lifts are atrocious. Only 4 lifts to cater for 18 floors. Okay heading up to a room from the Lobby, but coming down, lift took ages and would frequently be full. Resorted to stairs to get down rather than wait.
