Overall is Very Good, staff are nice ans friendly, Rooms are Clean with daily housekeeping, Swimming pool is live and the beach service is perfect including umbrela and chairs. F&B IS good with resonable prices compared to the area. The gave early check in more than hours which was very nice action from the reciption. Overall stay was amazing

Reall loved this property because of the location! You can walk around and feel extremely safe! The hotel is super clean, and the staff is extremely kind! I would definitely come back here again! Thanks so much to the staff and everyone at Marseilles!

Wonderful hotel. There are some ongoing repairs but it didn’t bug us. Beach is write in front of hotel, free sunbeds and umbrellas. Drink, food service on the beach and at the pool. 1$ happy hour drinks were amazing bonus that let us forget about hotel repairs. Hotel is kid friendly. Pool is clean and nice. Staff was very welcoming. Rooms needs some upgrades. There are some construction near hotel as well. Overall I would pick the hotel again and again

Very well located hotel on South Beach, easy access walking to the beach and to restaurants. Pool are is very nice, food and drinks are excellent. Special shout out to Ciara, bartender, server, and good conversationalist.

The property is not bad, but needs some love and care on the inside. The exterior amenities of the hotel are excellent – great pool and outdoor area. The flooring in my room was in dire need of replacement (cracked/broken pieces, spongy in spots, huge gaps). The shower took a full 5 minutes to warm up and there was a consistent flow of bugs coming from the sink and shower drains. Beds left much to be desired. At the price point and with the sheer number of hotels in the area, I don’t think this property is competitive.

I stayed at Marseilles for 5 nights with my family. It is a family oriented hotel. The staff is very nice (I don't know why some people complained about it in their reviews). It is right by the beach and they provide you two lounge chairs and umbrella every day. Happy hour drinks are a must ($1 for cocktails!!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I definitely recommend it!

We loved our stay at Marseilles. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was gorgeous, and it was great having direct access to the beach. We ate lunch & breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant & it was delicious. The only negative is all of the construction noise next door to the hotel, but obviously that can’t be controlled.

The property itself was beautiful, right off the beach. Ah-mazing place! Room was perfect EXCEPT for the elevator noise. Do not stay next to them if u dont have to. Annoying as all get out but it was spring break so not much choice for me but seriously bout sent me thru the roof & when i talked to front desk they acted like nobodys ever complained about it. Told em to go spend 10 minutes in the room & they'd know sure they haven't other than that beyond beautiful & happy hour was $1tip free drinks inside & outside bars so back & forth i went beach chair & umbrella also complimentary with stay parking is available but not visible dont know cost since I paid for parking before checking in cuz u cant see a lot or anything kind of ripped on that 1 good stay good price good times

We enjoyed our stay at the Marseille beachfront hotel for the most part however there were some concerns. Our room itself appeared a little outdated and did not have a fridge, however it was clean and we were given fresh towels everyday. The hotel is located on Collins ave which is a very busy street, we heard lots of noise and commotion from motorbikes, the neighboring nightclubs and people in the area that made it difficult to sleep at night. Water was also limited. There was one water jug inside the hotel for all guests that was often empty. And there was one water jug in the pool area, which we were told we cannot fill our water bottles with. Most hotels generally have refillable water stations on every floor so we were taken aback by this, especially considering the Miami heat and need to stay hydrated.The hotel's backyard and private beach access was the highlight of this resort. The pool, jacuzzi, outdoor bar and lounge area felt very luxurious. I would especially like to shoutout one of the outdoor waitstaff, Juan who was very attentive and friendly to me and my friends and made our stay so much more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and outdoor lounge area however I am not sure I would come back.

Have stayed here many times and it's really the best for the price on the ocean side of Collins. So convenient and really nice pool. Everyone who works there is really nice and helpful. Usually there's some small issue each time I'm there but never enough to really bother us. This time it was one of the shades was broken in the down position. I'm sure we could have had it fixed but it was a short trip so didn't bother. I've stayed in a lot places in South Beach and the Marseilles is by far my favorite.

Extremely small room
I enjoyed my stay overall. They staff was very helpful, attentive and polite. The most challenging was the size of the room. There was my adult daughter and I. We are both tall so we noted that the beds were "double" size, not queen size as advertised. They are not the same thing. No way two Queen size beds would have fit in that room. The hotel restaurant is decent but nothing we ate was worth "$$$" prices. Also, I was surprised to see the a service charge of 10% on the restaurant bill. I was told that was for tipping the kitchen staff. I've only ever seen the tip that I pay be of my choosing and a customary 20-30%. While I did tip the wait staff the 20% + amount if I have such a bill in the future I'll be more inclined to tip the waitress 8-10%, because I don't like hidden charges. And, perhaps this is just a South Beach thing but not offering drip coffee with free refills is absurd. Regarding parking. It was $23/day on a first come first serve basis. Parking for the four days was paid upfront. On the third day there was no space in the parking area and my $23 for that day was wasted and I had to pay to park somewhere else. The parking lot was not totally dedicated to Marseilles customers with is another reason it was hard to find parking in their lot. The lot is small and so it's difficult to get in and back out of parking spaces. Security gate did not close completely in the lot. All that being said it was a nice, clean stay even though overpriced in so many ways.

Marseilles Beachfront Hotel was an absolute wonderful stay. The pool was so relaxing with great music to listen to and pool side service of food and drink. The poolside bar had excellent fruity, blended drinks! The walk to the beach was just a minute and the hotel also provided drink and food service to the beach. Our stay included a beach umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach each day. The happy hour was very limited in the choices but still a nice touch. The patio restaurant Chloe's was amazing! We would definitely stay again!

The property was centrally located for restaurants, shopping along Lincoln Ave. The bathrooms are very small with no counter space to place anything (hot curling iron) and the rooms were just okay. It did have a small ledge to place your toiletries. Its an old building. There is no disability access (ramp at entrance). They told me I would have to carry the person and wheelchair into the hotel. The pool and bar area were super cute. And the best part is the hotel was along the beach. I would only come back if for the location.
