Nice room that was clean and comfortable, infact the bed was really comfortable. The room was warm and it had the coffee/tea making facilities that we find for us are a must have. Room was great for the price and their shuttle bus to the airport was great .

The dining room manager and the drivers were fantastic and the reception was decent but our room was not cleaned. Even after requesting the room be made up at the reception and given assurances that it would happen. It did not.

Could not get a shuttle to the airport terminal for the time we required, so had to walk with all our luggage

Great room, very clean. All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Mossy, our shuttle driver went above and beyond, he was amazing and very thoughtful. The restsurant staff were very helpful and courteous. The menu had lots of different options and the food we ordered was delicious. Will definitely stay at this location again.

Proximity to the airport great, staff super friendly, cleanliness excellent. Shame they charge 30 pounds for overnight parking and menu is extremely limited if you have a gluten/wheat alergy.

Shuttle to airport and distance to car rental. Disappointed at reception as registered for a dinner table and for shuttle in the morning and this was not processed. Luckily the shuttle drivers assisted as the van I needed to take was full so the other shuttle took me and made an extra stop. They saved the day since the reception did not do as we had requested. Food was good

Longest check I process I’ve had. Asked to use the express checkout - wouldn’t work with two rooms under the same name. We were there stood with a member of staff trying over and over, in the end, she took over and checked us in on her last top in under 30 seconds. Why not do that in the first place? Paid for both rooms in full, now we’ve had 10 attempts to take a £120 from our card with no explanation. No one calls back. Staff overall were fairly friendly, wouldn’t stay again sorry.

The room was dusty with hairs and dust on the coffee/tea tray. The meal, i had fish and chips, the fish batter was so hard ot could not be cut through. It tasted like frozen fosh reheated. There was not much choice on thr menu for non meat eaters. Staff were helpful.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Clayton Hotel. Our flight was very delayed, and we were exhausted when we arrived at Manchester. As soon as we arrived at the pick up point, the Clayton courtesy bus was there. I'd spoken several times to reception staff while en route and were assured they'd be there to collect us. They were true to their word. The room was very comfortable and we slept like logs! Breakfast was really good. Fresh and plentiful. The staff, without exception, were lovely. Friendly, efficient, and a special mention to the courtesy bus drivers for their wonderful service.

Best hotel at Manchester Airport. 2 minute shuttle terminals. Clean spacious room with a tub in the bathroom for a soak after a long day. Tasty innovative food at the restaurant served by the friendly efficient Yasmine. Capable and welcoming staff at the front desk.

Major plus is the location with good shuttle service to the terminals. Stayed one night for a morning flight. Be aware and check the restaurant opening hours especially if you are arriving late evening/night or leaving early morning. Would have got a better review overall, but felt forced to use self-service check in; bed appeared clean but the carpets throughout the corridors and in the room were worn/stained/dirty in areas. Property needs some TLC. However, it’s not a luxury hotel. The proximity to the terminals and shuttle service makes the hotel a convenient option.

Just one towels in bathroom. No bathmat, slipped on tile floor getting out of shower. Complained to front desk. None brought in. Staff member entered room while sleeping. Wrong room apparently. Slow service in restaurant. Had to ask to be served.

The staff in the bar refused to make me a coffee as it was late. It was only 7pm. Then the airport transfer driver refused to take to the airport to get a coffee when he was going empty to pick you clients. I’d never stay here again!!!! Avoid fully!!!!
