Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. I Enjoy staying here because it is pet friendly, I travel with my dog. It's location is perfect as it is easy to get to anywhere in the area whether you are walking biking or driving. Every time I check in the staff is awesome.

Room had a funky smell, glad I brought some Febreeze. Lots of shelves in the actual room, but in bathroom there was nowhere to put your clothes down as the toilet did not have a lid. Shower/tub insert was badly designed - the wall actually leaned inward so that the space in which to stand up was narrower above the tub area. This meant I kept banging my elbows on the wall constantly - very aggravating. And for $175 per night, they could’ve provided a single box of tissue, but no. That must come with a “premium” room. Will not stay in Motel 6 again.
