I noticed Expedia 2nd floor isn’t clean. The bed sheets had pet hair on them. There were wet and mildewed sheets and towels left in the hallway overnight and the carpet in the hallway was dirty. I had to call the front desk twice because the people above me were making noise after 11:00 p.m. I didn’t get another room until 4:30 a.m. The person was walking up and down the stairs slamming the stair well door all through the night. It didn’t feel safe!!

Property understaffed although doing their best. Rooms were not clean even though marked clean. Linens were missing from rooms as laundry was behind. For such a busy location, staffing needs to become a priority.

You guys put a pretty pictures up with mid prices.. then inget there and its a government assistant living hotel that smells twrrible with trashy people all over the place. I guess its so.ewhat my fault for not researching why its a 1 star hotel that looks like a 3 star. Once you get i side your room though you do forget about the terrible atmosphere around you. So good job to your cleaning crews.

Overall the parking lot seemed a little unsafe but well lit. I was glad we checked in before the lobby closed or we would not have had a place to stay. Overall impression our room was clean, surprised no hangers or soap/shampoo. I was very disappointed in the smell of pot and smoke everywhere it was a bit overwhelming. Yet I was in a non-smoking room ironic.

This property offers a full-size refrigerator, full-size microwave, and two-burner store. They have a laundry room and fitness room. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Very basic. Bed was comfortable. Walls were very thin. Shower head seemed to have a water regulator on it so the pressure was adequate but not powerful like more hotels. So nothing relaly wrong, just might spend a few more bucks for a kind of normal place

A new long-term stay hotel. The doors are always locked, with a locked door between the lobby and the elevator/rooms, so there is a bit of a weird vibe with that. Felt very safe, though.

Helpful and friendly desk staff
Checked in at midnight after 11 hour travel. Desk staff stayed (of course) so that we could check in...but did so with a smile. Walls (or ceilings/floors) are thin, though. Heavy walking from room above was bothersome, but such is likely the case in most hotels.

Very few amenities. Minimal towels in the bathroom. No hand towels, just bath towels and wash cloths. No hair dryer. Thankfully I brought my own. Definitely more of a long-term stay place than those staying for a couple nights. Bed was very uncomfortable, tiny, flat pillows. Very glad we brought our own. Sheets were the thinnest I’ve ever seen. Coffee only available in the lobby and it was more like drinking hot water than coffee. No breakfast. Front desk is only open beginning at 10:00am. Glad I didn’t need anything. And so much for no smoking within 25 feet of the building. The elevator and hallways reeked of weed. The only positives I can say about this place was that it was and clean and convenient to everything. Also the A/C was good and it was quiet.

Staff was generally not available. We were locked out of the building for some time upon arrival until another guest let us in. Then we waited longer until staff showed up to check us in. The room weas not ready. The alternate room we were given was recently cleaned but was full of odd odors (in addition to the cleaning chemicals). The pillows were small and flat, and no additional pillows were available - and no staff was available to ask for more. The window only had a venetian blind which failed to block out the extremely bright floodlight in the parking lot. The room was clean and the furniture was new, but it was all quite stark and uncomfortable. There was an apparent drug dealer in the parking lot for the first day of our stay (on his phone, watching the traffic and meeting folks in the parking lot who came and went quickly). A steady stream of traffic was passing our window and making noise as they visited him late into the night. The second night I was awakened around 3:00am by a large, loud group returning to their rooms. Once awake, the only place to sit up and work without keeping others in my room awake, was the tall, uncomfortable table in the lobby. When I did meet staff they were pleasant and perfunctory. The building was new and clean. But no, It wasn't a great experience.

There is a phone at entrance to call the front desk to get in at the front door if you do not have a key to enter. Yes the hotel was full that weekend so there may have been a lot of traffic in and out the hotel. It was college weekend for Liberty University and also we had a hockey team staying with us too. I was in town from Ohio for the blueridge rockfest ( which turned out to be an absolute nightmare) the only comfort I had was that I really liked my hotel stay. I have my own cleaning business and usually find something that is dirty in any hotel I stay in but the first thing I noticed was how clean my room was! Also all the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming which was very comforting since I was so far from home and traveling alone and also having a horrible time because the festival was a disappointment. I mostly talked to the front desk clerk named Krystle who was so friendly, considerate and sweet. I’m glad that I at least had a nice play to stay during my stressful vacation.

BOOT KNOCKIN'
As soon as we checked in my wife said, " i don't like this place", but we were tired and just needed some sleep, so she capitulated. The room was adequate, the young lady at the desk was great, it was the clientele that bothered us most. Loud, inconsiderate yelling in the halls, doors slamming at 11pm, and several un-savory looking people just hanging out in common areas. The icing on the cake happened just after we got to the room, we heard LOUD banging from the room next door then we heard a man and a woman involved in a LOUD conversation, we could here them carrying on as if they were in the room with us. Before we could pick up the phone to call, we heard the ominous, "thud, thud, thud, thud, thud..." THEY WERE KNOCKING BOOTS!!! We could hear it all, so either the walls are that thin or she was that thick... We bailed, found a better hotel next door! They did give us a full refund.

Woodspring Suites is an extended stay hotel and we do offer different amenities then you would see at a transit hotel vs the extended hotel. We just offer bar soap and shampoo in the room. Also the coffee pots are at the front desk for guest to buy, because most the guest stay here for long time usually would bring there own coffee pot. We do offer coffee in the lobby from 6am-10am for the guest to come enjoy. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Choose this hotel for 2 nights as the property was new. It is currently directly next to a construction site. There is no true lobby and we had to call to be let in the building to check in at 8:30pm. We were met with an roll up door and a fairly unfriendly receptionist. The room was furnished like a dorm room and lacked the comfort of a hotel. We were awakened at 3pm one night with extremely loud neighbors. Noise continuously despite calling from desk.

As soon as we exited the elevator upon checking in the smell of weed permeated the entire hall of the 2nd floor and upon entering our room the stench of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. The front desk clerk was very accommodating and instantly moved us to a room on the 4th floor. The room was a nice size and well set-up. The bed was VERY uncomfortable.
