"The drive to the hotel took us down a side street as opposed to a main road giving a very bad first impression but on arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was airy and authentically Egyptian. Nasser welcomed us and arranged for us to get together on the terrace the next morning so we could go to our room as it was quite late. "This is the only place you will want to stay in Luxor. We had a superior deluxe room over looking the Nile. The grounds and gardens are immaculate and so well kept. All the staff are so friendly polite and helpful always seeking to go the extra mile. The food is plentiful and so many things and restaurants to choose from. The boat trips on offer from the hotel are a must to cruise up the Nile with a breeze on your face. "
